I used to play Ice Hockey but I gave it up due to time constraints and lack of skill. I currently play Soccer in the fall, US FIRST robotics in the winter (my school is so awesome they say it's a sport) and lacrosse in spring.

No, I don't feel the need to do sports, it's just a waste of time and energy that could be better spent reallly.

Varsity is the top tier of High School sports. It goes from best to worst; Varsity-->Junior Varsity-->JVC.

This is my first year on a FIRST team. My school has been involved in FIRST for the past 10 years.

At school I was considered decent at hockey, decent at tennis, apparently a 'brilliant' defender in football. I also participted in the west wiltshire school rugby 7s tournament. Admittedly, when I was put in my first match and saw that the people I was to be tackling were twice the size of me, I chickened out from tackling (so me being there was pointless). If it was now I wouldn't have cared much and just tackled them for the satisfaction of seeing them on the floor. Though apparently in school matches I was a good hooker. xD

It's the curse (or not) of polysemy. Words can have different meanings, but mostly they each refer to a certain semantic field.

Alsthougn distance running has never really been my thing, it's kind of repetitive to me.

Good question, you'd have to ask a million people the same question if you truly are wondering that. I don't know why we use words at all, why don't we all just use sign language? But then again, who said sign language didn't have the same kind of effect as words? I don't know, I'm not *god*
