Pyromaniac605 vs Scrap Daddy (Scrap Daddy Wins)
« on: February 20, 2012, 02:17:32 PM »
The battle will be realistic DSL HW, no crawlers, no multi-bots.
Who wants to host?

Read step 2 of the procedure. This rule was made so that moderators only needed to look at when the thread was made to determine when it should be over.

Almost everybody can take screenshots so all you really need to do is find someone with time on their hands. If you want a host that will record the fight then you're gonna have to find one that isn't too busy. I personally haven't been following the Challenge Board that much (its not my responsibility to moderate it) so I can't really name any names but you can also look at the tournament section. The difficulty in finding a host is actually why this needs to be done via PM (or the discussion thread). Since it is not required, there is no reason to put off a challenge just to get one.

Just to get things back on track, I'll offer my services to make a bare-bones video for you guys. Even if it turns out that I'm too busy, there is a timeout period for hosts in the rules now so it shouldn't be a problem. Though in the future, please follow the procedure.

Sorry, I'll follow the rules next time.
Thanks for offering to host too, I'll PM Scrap Daddy and let him know.

Edit:

Slightly updated since my Showcase post, with any luck it should last 20 seconds or so.  :laughing

I've received and successfully tested Pyromaniac605's bot and AI so now we are waiting on Scrap Daddy. Everything was in order by the 22nd so he has until the 29th to get something in.

No axle support, no belt support, and a really unnecessary wedge considering the bot type.

I've received Scrap's entry (like 9 hours ago) so I should have recorded and ready to upload by the end of the weekend.

Well, I didn't have as much time over the weekend as I thought but I did manage to get something put together before the deadline. My original intention was just to upload a bare-bones video though as you'll soon discover, I didn't.

On a side note, I would be interested in hearing what people think of the Action Cam.

added to rankings, along with S_R vs Thyrus
How you make Alarm Clock Pizza is:
Step 1: You buy an alarm clock from the store, and then you have to break it and put it in the sauce.
Step 2: Fold the sauce in 5 slices and put it in the dough.
Step 3: Paint the eggs with a pitcher of a clock showing what time you want to wake up and eat pizza for breakfast.
Step 4: Put the eggs in the dough.
Step 5: Make it flat into a round shape and draw the time you want on it.
Step 6: Put some old steel to prevent other peple from stealing it.
Step 7: Make it flat and cut into 60 slices 1 for each minute in 1 our.
Step 8: Put in the oven set the timer to 30048813.2884 seconds and put the temperature on 'Volcano' setting.
Step 9: If you think it is take to long, then get yor alarm clock and set it to now so that it will ring and you can take it out.
Step 10: Take it out uv the uvin wen it is redy and go to bed. In the morning eat pizza and also eat yor hands bi mistake.
