Hi Guys.
The WRL tournament will soon be underway.
Here are the rules for nostalgia:
Rules:
1 No cheatbot2 robots allowed.
2 If a robot causes a Havoc Explosion during a fight and it results in the other bot(s) losing, then the bot that caused the havoc explosion may be disqualified depending on its reputation. (So if it’s caused a havoc explosion before, then it will be disqualified but if it was just an odd thing, then it will be excused and it will have a rematch)
3 All robots must follow the realistic design rule.
4 Robots are allowed a maximum of 2 weapon systems or more depending if they run on 1 control.
If a robot uses glitches, then it will not be able to enter the competition
5 Robots who get destroyed by the House Robots by staying in the HRZ for more than 10 seconds will go out, but if the house robot attacks when the robot hasn’t been in the HRZ for more than 10 seconds and they get destroyed, then the robot will be judged up till the point when it got destroyed.

As it says above, it will have some House Robots in it.

It will be like Robot Wars, First round of the Heats, 3 way fight.
Then, its 1-on-1 All Or Nothing Combat (You lose, your out!)
I'll try and get some pictures and videos up ASAP.
If your new to all of this, then dont worry, feel free to enter, i feel for you (Im kinda new)
I have talked it over with ACAMS, before any of you ask.
It will be AI.
You can AI your bot if you like, just send me the Bindings.py script for your bot to me.
If you dont know how to AI, then i will gladly do it for you.
The tournament will start sometime next year.

Ok, then maybe im a bit wrong.
You'll have to get used to the idea of House Robots, as they will give the thing a unique twist.
Your allowd a maximum of 2 weapons as thats pretty much the AI limit.
Burst stacking is staacking thing on a connecter on a burst, like on ACAMS video.

Its my first hosted event, so wether it will be any good is far beyond me!

1-Only 2 weapons on a HW? You mean weapon systems, not components? ( Because nearly all DSL HWs have more than two weapon components).
2-That's not the realistic rule if two components overlap by burst stacking.

a big robot that is in the arena in the robot wars events. it attacks you if you go next to it and sometimes freely.

EDIT: Joe, I would consider the arena/rebuilding it before entering.

It is still a LONG ways from being approved.....look at the last several posts. this is just the break the ice post and the date will most likely change. I still see several rules to work out.

I suggest that this tournament and all future tournaments be 2 out of 3 (like BBEANS) Single Elimination......tournaments lasting 4,5, and 6 months is starting to get boring and old.......especially with new people wanting to start a tournament every week.

Why do you morons keep saying that.....you have not seen the arena....you have not seen the house bots..... you don't even know whether it will be 2 out of 3 double elimination......2 out of 3 single elimination.......or one loss and you are out....OR WHAT!
 
This tournament will not start untill ALL the rules are plain and clear and AT LEAST one of the current tournaments completes.
 
Besides, who thinks WhamettNuht is smart enough to make the house bots stay in their corner untill you are in the hazard zone for 10 seconds?

This Tournament is not well planned and I am afraid to say the ELBITE tournament needs details worked out too.
 
Finish the current tournaments as soon as possible then worry about new ones.
