I'd like to face Arachnida in a grudge match, to see who the superior axe bot is.

Surprising to see Hypershocked get that far, when I quickly checked the thread yesterday I miscounted and got to 4 vs 4 votes on Space Shuttle/Hypershocked.

I think it's over on the next match, however I might have a chance of Spinneroo's blade hits the side instead of the front, the top claws could hit the armor and maybe damage it enough that way, that is if the battery power doesn't run out.

The clamp is sadly such a flawed design(but it looks awesome) and in general the bot isn't that combat effective. Once started a second version but I think it still has the same issues, just now with polycarbonate instead of titanium armor.

One grudge match I mentioned earlier is Green Arrow vs Hypershocked, so it gets to show it's clamp design off. No idea which loadout will be picked for this fight, Arachnida's front is chassis armor so the Clamp Would work, at the same time however that would mean that the back of Green Arrow could easily be hit by that Frenzy Hammer, the defender/deflector would have other disadvantages, then again the Clamp design would also be able to lift.

As for the earlier mentioned grudge match, it depends on how much time you have and if you have a limit on matches, if any of those two are an issue, then not, else I wouldn't mind a second fight even if I think Blizzard will easily get a second win(the grudge match idea was never to win but to show how destroyed the bot could get)

I vote for Blizzard to go through. Badger's robot hasn't really done that well but has at least won some battles while R01's robot has been awful in all of its fights (including the one it won). I'm picking the one that has done well throughout the competition rather than the one who has lucked out constantly.

I was not expecting that! God, it wasn't half close in the end, though! I think this makes me the last undefeated bot in the tournament... O.o On a separate note, that was one hell of a throw from Green Arrow.

...to be honest, part of me is saying "vote Blizzard back in, it's an impressive bot and truly deserves it", and part of me is saying "vote Hypershocked because you can counter it easily". Ahh, gamesmanship... :P

...screw it. I'm voting for Blizzard. It deserves to be in the final four.

Thoughts:

AI nonsense happened in all matches, the AI driving up the other bot instead of going back and under it, wish we'd have more advanced AI.

Green Arrow worked really well, good clamp setup, now if there was only a way to hide the burst piston better. Nice OOTA throw, apparently it was rather lucky but I wonder if that one could be done more commonly.

Like expected, Spinneroo's close weapon made sure that it hits the chassis, Hypershocked did a good job getting under it and I was surprised to see that Beater ripped off. Now if I only had added a bit of front armor.

Deathstalker was doing well, also either I'm just too used to Mechavore's destruction or Redace is using one of the smaller perms here, good sportsmanship. Deathstalker did well, taking off the wheel and getting some nice hits from the side until the AI decided to derp around. After that it looked like it had some problems with Ground Clearance for some reason(axle glitch?) almost lost to Blizzard but I'm happy that it was able to win that.

Wildcard:

Difficult one, I don't really know, feel like giving it to Blizzard would give it the win, but will probably vote for it later on.

The bot was never something I expected to win, it was built from a little project that I once did about testing out a new IRL building style for my mod(which might never happen, not like I could start now as I'd require certain tools), the original had a wedge similar to Razorback's 2015 configuration and was mostly made to show how well a bot can fall apart.

Later on I wasn't sure if I'd enter GTM RW but since Craaig was nice and helped me with fixing the Retooled entry for the GTM tournament, I decided to create a new version of Hypershocked. It was mostly untested(as such the weak plastic chassis issue wasn't noticed until later, also had weapon motor drive in GTM RW) and I did notice that it's weapon isn't doing too great/quickly runs out of power as well(having two Mag snappers with only such low movement doesn't use their value and power input well).
Don't know if DSL has messed up hitboxes on the spike strips or if they're simply too steep, but it can't go under bots as well.

So the bot was basically entered for enterainment and I'm surprised how far it got via votes, would be even more surprised if it made it past this round.

To be fair, it couldn't do much in the match against Rambulance because it was pinned by it, personally would've hoped that Rambulance flips it back over and that it could get to the side of the bot(chassis armor without any extra armor pannels on top, might be just enough for the batteries)
