Basically idk what you guys want to enter, so I'm letting you vote on it. Highest vote in a week wins.

RULES:

16 entrants, 4 groups of 4. Groups will decide seeding, with the bottom 2 in each group being placed in the lower bracket.
Reier gets a reserved spot for winning my last tournament
Signups would last 3 weeks. A second bot can now be submitted!

Rules
-Stock HW (800.0 and below)
-Stock building style, standard  stock ruleset (no AAM, BFE, Hax mode etc)
-BBEANS Arena 2, 3 minute fights, hazards on
-I can AI, but not very well, I strongly suggest you AI your bot yourself.
-I reserve the right to decline a bot for ANY reason, and I will do so if a bot is going against the spirit of the rules.
-No meltybrain, or custom .py's-SnS, TRFBDs and crawlers are banned
-No custom components that do not come with a fresh RA2 install, this includes skinned components.
-1 havok restart per match per bot, any further havoks count as a round loss.
-Bots may not be updated after the first match has been recorded, except AI tweaks or skin changes
-Upper bracket matches are BO3, lower bracket and groupstage matches are BO1
-If spots are not filled, I may reduce the tournament size or fill spots with ASAI bots.
-Flamethrowers are legal, other cheatbot2 components are banned (hidden components such as the 140cm extender are allowed, however)

You're gonna need a serious majority if you want to expect a good number of entrants. By which, I mean you'll need 50%+ people agreeing on the metagame or else this tournament may fall short where a certain other similar tournament did.

I'm expecting a decent amount of people to enter even if they don't get the mod/weightclass that they were looking for. Really I just want a large tournament, and I'm not sure what format would get the most entrants, ergo the vote.

Nope, I would aI for you. Consider entering whatever the mod, tournaments are a great way to improve and see what works and what doesn't with your building style and with other's.

Placed my votes! Looks very tight haha... Incidentally, I am focusing on stock right now, so if any other mod gets the nod, I'm out, but I'll gladly sit and watch :)

Most tournies seem to focus on HW's so I think it would be nice to mix it up, hence why I voted for a MW for some variety - but I suppose HW gives everyone more freedom anyway.

Strawpoll gives you 3 options to prevent this. IP based checking, cookie based checking or no checks. Since most UK members will have dynamic IPs, IP checking is basically useless. Cookie checking is what the polls are using, and although its easy to bypass (by using incognito mode or using a different device) I hope not too many people bothered.

Despite it being underweight I may enter Orange Avenger I updated it recently and will ad batts to make it a HW.

I likely won't be entering. The arena, I wasn't too fussed over, but Stock HW? I like me some Stock, but I don't think a HW tournament would be fun at all, personally. Good luck to everyone who (predictably) will enter, though.
