Assuming you meant to make such a rule though, serious question: How do you treat hybrids? For example, this bot

is primarily a VS, but it also has a flipper. Does it count for both or just VS?

Also, do flamethrowers count as a separate bot type? I would argue they shouldn't, because they are almost always used as secondary weapons on other bot types. (Also, I want to make a fire-themed team.)

Good eye, Click. Apparantly I deleted something I didn't mean too. Rules updated to include the different type rule.

As to your question....Hybrids will count as whatever they're main type is. If it's clearly a VS with a bit of a flipper, it's a VS. If it's a hybrid that's basically a 50/50 mix, i'll count it as both types. Flamethrowers follow along the same rule. If the bot is clearly a Drum with some extra flamethrower action, it counts as a drum. Flamethrower bots will only count as a bot type if they're primarily flamethrowers. And even if you enter a pure flamethrower, you'll be allowed to use flamethrowers a secondary weapon on other bots on your team.

All the above will be carefully scrutinized under my discretion. I'll be fairly lenient in this regard, but will be a hardass if need be. Basically, don't push the limits too far, and you'll be fine.

I realize this is a fairly subjective thing, but it's difficult to set down a concrete rule. I want to encourage hybrids, and creative bots, but I don't want 3 flippers with tiny alterations to push them into hybrid territory, y'know?
