This seems like a pretty fun concept. I may not join but I will follow this tournament because I think it'll be pretty cool.

Edit: Also, I just noticed, 12 entrants? You're limiting yourself, mate.

I see you're making fun of Junkyard Wars with the title (That's it's called in America by the way.)

I may enter this, don't know about DSL-S though.

If I made this IRL everything would look like Standard anyway.

...DSL-S with every single component being different ? OK, i'm game.

Shell spinners are out... Flail SnS will suck badly... All gut-rippers will be nerfed pretty hard... HS will be probably unbalanced... VS HAHAHAHAHA VERTICAL SPINNERS.

Leaving rammers, wammers, pokers and FS as decent bot types.

The battery rule is kinda harsh though. Other than the obligatory ant battery and battlepack, we must either use them WP836E's (BETTER SHOOT MYSELF IN THE FOOT OK), or the overly large orange batteries. Favoring rammers.

But I suppose that's part of the challenge.

This is a good idea, it completely changes DSL-S habits and only the best will win. We should have more DSL-S challenge tournaments like that !

Also this will look like n00b warz. Making it even more entertaining.

I think getting 12 entries for this is pretty ambitious.

Should I:
A - Knock it down to 8 entries for single/double elimination?
B - Knock it down to 9 entries for a few three-way melees?
C - Persevere and keep it at 12 entries?

No robot is going to drive straight. Ever.

However this looks fun, I'll probably make something.
