Anyways, division winner predictions !

Div1: NFX, obviously
Div2: Badnik or GF (with luck)
Div3: SM or myself
Div4: ty4er
Div5: Marty
Div6: Mike or Natef

As a last resort, and in protest if he goes through with it. I'm more than happy to continue if he doesn't, but I will not having him stealing my place.

But with regards to the bracket, hopefully I should do it- Badnik's the only real threat there.

GF93, you don't really have a choice in the matter. GK was given a Division swap last tournament for winning, he could have used it on anyone. He could have used it on me (tbh, that's what I thought he was going to do), and I wouldn't have been too happy, but I'd still have gone through with it. Besides, you're not being kicked out of the tournament, you're just being moved into a different division with different opponents. It's just the way the draw fell, and how the Division Swap works. I wouldn't want you to up stick and leave the tourney because of something like this, you've still got a decent chance.

He's not looking to screw you over, he earned the Division Swap as a prize in the previous tournament. If you'd won the Division swap, and you'd decided to swap with GK, I'm sure he wouldn't be quite so upset by it. Like I've said, it is NOT a personal attack on you, the Division Swap could have been used on anyone. Me, Naryar, even GRW. He's trying to better his chances in the tournament, which he is perfectly entitled to do with his Division Swap, and I can understand that you're quite annoyed with that, but all his decision was based on is the luck of the draw. I'm almost certain that he wasn't looking to screw you over.

Of course he would be- why else would that coward do it, other than knowing he's too weak to take on the likes of Mike, so he'd rather worm his way out of it and use me as some sort of shield rather than actually proving himself to be a capable champion? He could've picked anyone else in my bracket, but no. Had to be me.

You could look at this another way - he saw you as the biggest threat in the bracket. That's not a bad thing, it means you've put together a good bot. And like I've said, he could have used the division swap on ANYONE. If the brackets had fallen differently, if it was me in that division, for example, then the likelihood is that he would have swapped with me. If you had a tougher division, then he probably wouldn't have swapped with you. It is only because of how the brackets fell that he's elected to swap with you, and you're not being thrown out of the tournament. You're simply being transferred to a different division, you still have a good chance in this.

I can see where you're coming from, but it's perfectly within the rules for him to do that, therefore it can't be classed as cheating. I see it more like the variation of Poker where you can hand some bad cards in your hand back for some better ones. I can't remember the name, but it's a similar principle. Besides, there's really not much anyone can do at this point, it's entirely GK's decision as to who he swaps with.

That's where the "Officially-endorsed" bit comes from. Essentially cheating, but in the rules.
Also, that version of Poker you're thinking of? It's a standard rule and you can do it with any number of cards, but what you get is completely random, so if anything, you can actually end up worse off.
Here, he's specifically chosen me to dump into another Heat of Doom to ensure he gets by, so it's a bit different.

But yes. GK, if you're reading this, I dare you to prove to me you're actually a worthy champion and go ahead with the original division without resorting to underhanded tricks to worm your way out of it and keep yourself in.

Goldenfox is obviously mad, and none of his arguments make sense. Despite NFX's attempt to calm him down, he still goes on and throwing personal insults at G.K. for a simple use of the rules. For these, and pulling a LRA2 in a serious tournament thread, Goldenfox93 has earned 30% warning.

BY DEFINITION it's not cheating if it's allowed within the rules. It's just a plus to the former winner. If you can't deal with it GF, just leave.

And honestly... GK is roughly as good as Mike. Don't blame people on their skills when you're worse than them.

And where does it say even the slightest thing about jealousy? It's to do with him using me to make sure he'll go through, and then at the same time throwing me into what's pretty much a Heat of Doom. That's what I was trying to say.
