Quote from: GoldenFox93 on February 07, 2012, 07:52:39 AMMight give this a go. Pity it's not DSL HW though...I find that that's one of the best things for making cool, realistic robots with. More choice in what you can build effectively, too.yeah DSL HW is pro tier. Not only you can build original, but you can build efficient, and cool, and everything.

it'll probably be rubbish, but i might as well try :P
Sawblades & some other weapons will be balanced... Ninja discs for example.
Wait a minute- if you're using Alphasim's RW Replicas, they'll still probably have all their overpowered parts, which defeats the purpose of having it simply regular stock.

That's why I'll let you guys decide that. I'm rushing TOO much with my tournament, so I should calm down and do more testing. It's like entering into Rally competition without testing the car.
Removed the poll... Seemed to be obvious that there won't be Alphasim's RWAI robots... Now I'll do some more testing & does anyone have any rule suggestions?

Now I'll do some more testing & does anyone have any rule suggestions? Here's what I would do- - DSL Heavyweight, with the IRL rule strictly enforced, like with Blades of Fury or Replica Wars. That way, we'll get designs more in-line with a name like RW Series 8- that both look great and in-line with real designs, and fight realistically. It'll also improve numbers, with far less need for faffing about with advanced building techniques. - Use the Robot Wars Arena. - To help with it, also throw in some of the DSL RW Replicas. - Maybe try setting it out like the RW Heats, depending on how many entrants you get. With a few, you could try the Series 4 format (6 robots per Heat, divided into two First Round Melees), and for more than that, the Series 6/7 format (The same, but with 8 robots per heat). - A maximum of two Judge/Lifter Motors for flippers, srimechs and things.
is this bot don't lost all razors in a fight before do a damage thought
