Come on Jonzu.

Scotland should be allowed due to referendum on gaining independence soon.
Northern Ireland should be allowed due to being divided and not on British mainland
Wales should be allowed due to how successful some of the bots were.

Plus it would make some of us actually feel like we're doing it for the country. If its just UK then you might as well name it England.

Agreed. Jonzu, I'd say that for UK-based robots, you should at least state which areas of the United Kingdom each robot is representing.

There's more than just England, y'know.

Also agreeing, adding on that The Second and Third World Championships weren't very well run at all also, with it just being England vs USA in the second round, as well as JP revealing results, and the UK champion never made it and the Supernova/Storm 2 controversy in the 3rd.

Well sorry for wanting to compete as MY country in the World Championship.
I will enter as Northern Ireland whether you like it or not.

Come on Joni, you might as well change the rules. You lose nothing by doing it.

My Tournament, My rules. No offence. I don't want too many entries from United Kingdom. Otherwise the World Championship is full of them.

From what I've seen, only me, Kurt, RPJK and GF have expressed interest from Brits in the tourney (and I'm not even entering it)

I thought you were waiting for the topic to move for robots to be sent, now there's a deadline. What if the topic is moved one day before the deadline ends!?

Not really- in fact, it divides it up a bit, since they're all technically their own countries.

Don't like the rules?  Don't enter, that's all I gotta say.

As stupid as the name technicality rule is and how it excludes entries past 4 per country, you can't make him accept any entry.

I'm not protesting against the rules- just asking on behalf of a few others whether each nation of the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) could be represented individually.

I'm going to side with Jonzu here, personally. The UK was used in World Championships 2 and 3, plus - I know there aren't four members from each country, but four each from Scotland, England, Wales and Ireland rather defeats the purpose of it being a WORLD Championship. Besides, there's two other tournaments for you to enter if you happen to miss out.

Well, good luck filling up all 16 slots with rules like that....

There's a good chance he might just get stuck at 13 - 14.

Well...OK. That's reasonable enough, but personally, I'm alright with it either way.
