No, I will do the 12 as intended - rules are rules and I don't WANT to kick bots out, I just don't want to run a big tournament.

Just left my house, got to the bus stop, decided to read the thread.......and realised I didn't even test my entry.

Awesome.

Gonna go well.

That's now entry 13.
If I receive no other entries over the next 2 hours I will (as long as all are accepted, of course) put whoever the randomizer puts as 12 and 13 into a qualifier battle, just so it won't be 1 person left out. Any other entries and it will all go as previously planned.

Signups closed. I now need to go through all the entries and make some splashes, then voting will commence, and only then can the battles begin :D

Just as an update to the above, yes, apologies for the busyness, the Skype guys know I haven't even been on there much in the last month or 2. I'm doing work on this whenever I have some free time, it is not forgotten, and will hopefully fully kick off in the first week or so of September.

Until then, thank you for your patience, and I hope it ends up worth the wait :)

I just find it a shame I had to piss out a crap robot in an hour when I could have spent so much longer, really.  :dumb)

Well no. For one, the tournament had spaces, and all the spaces were filled, then the signups closed. Secondly, if people kept sending updates while I've been sporadically working on AI and splashes, the entire process would take twice as long, because I'd have to re-do stuff. :)

As I've always said, you should never really criticize a tournament host unless you have experience in running them.

True.

I'm just bitter because I know I could have done better. Sorry.  :dumb)
