Hey, since I can't build in stock at the moment, can I build it in DSL WITH ONLY stock components? it'll be a stock bot with only stock parts, in DSL.

I think it is a case of you not understanding... DSL's stock parts are not the same parts as the stock ones... they may look the same but they use different text files from different locations.

yes a stock robot will load in DSL but it utilized parts in the CFZ which as far as I know are hidden=1 (aka not reachable in the botlab)

then i'm afraid for you that the work on it was for nothing... well, not entirely since you now have a new awesome robot, but you can't enter with it.

yeah, and the fact that it's stock, with SL stock so I can't use it in stock or DSL, unless maybe I BFE of CFZ edit............(would that work?)

I mean edit the bots file, so that the components would only be edited in him, but the same in DSL.

what I mean is is to edit THE BOT only, so it will work in stock, nothing else will be alterd, I'm just gonna make him stock compatible.

yes you could do it by BFE changing the locations of all the parts to stock directories

you would need all the names of all the stock text files, notepad++ and time to spare :P
