Time for me to test out my one-of-a-kind VS. :gunz:
Changed my mind, gonna enter a walker, just for fun.
EDIT:
Too lazy to make a competitive CW walker, so I built a Shell Spinner:

IRL type bots rejected? my bot kinda turned out IRL due to it being part of the n00b army bots tho...

Well if it wasn't intended to be IRL I'll take a look and see. They're only rejected because of the absolute hordes of IRL tournaments we have, and this is for the people fed up of it.

I'm not putting this through until I know for sure I'm not gonna have too much of a busy week so I can take signups. Take this time to build and perfect your bots people :)

New poll - Ironforge or DSL-S?
Personally I vote for Ironforge - this tournament was trying to encourage different types of bots with it's complex weight rules anyway, so why not switch it up completely and see what people make?

No, it'll use Standard Realism, as Ironforge was intended to use (from what I can tell)

Ironforge sounds fun.  Nothing like a good tournament to build hype for a new mod.

Would the weight penalties and bonuses still exist if this was in Ironforge?  Or just standard HW with nothing else fancy?

Standard HW, nothing fancy - having spoken to 123, it may be useful to him for further balancing to just see a bunch of bots on a level-playing field, plus most of us don't fully know what we're doing yet, we don't need complex weightclasses and rules :P

DP:
We have officially switched to Ironforge! Get building your heavyweights as entries will probably open within a week, and will only be open for 1 week.

Why would I not? Not sure how I'd AI it though, you may have to do that.

That's why I was asking to see if you'd have any idea on how to AI it.

Diving headlong into this. Only made one Ironforge bot so far and that's what I'm entering.

THZ.py is what I have used in the past, there is an example of it too in the AI thread if you wanna look at that.
