No it didnt fraps still doesnt work so I'll just give you the winner of match 8: Last Rites!

Here's how the match went: Last Rites was flipped by Toro which made his weapon the perfect height to shear off Terror Turtle's blade. Then Toro flipped Terror turtle. Since I had not put an 'invertible':True line in TT's Bindings, he was immobilized. LR tore off Toro's arm and then the match turned into a pushing and shoving match. LR wins by judge decision.

most of Round 2 is already filmed so this tourney is not dead yet, but this means that there will be no Replica Wars 2 unless I can find a good recording software.

do you have the game in full screen or window ? try the other the opposite to what you are doing and see if that works

I know it may sound silly but Fraps responds differently with windows and full screen

I've been using fullscreen all this time so it cant be that.

I just got an idea! I could give the bots to someone else to film and then they send the footage to me for RW2!

try it in window form then if it crashes in full screen

Fraps responds differently with windows and full screen

window form will be less load on your computer then full screen which might just be the issue
