It's DSL, so no. Conflicts with the realistic rule.

Does a drum count as a spinner?

well, technically, i think chaning is ok, because if you ducktape a motor to a motor, and you spin them in the same direction, the same can happen in real life. i can fix the stacking, but i think chaining is ok. anyone disagree

Think about this, How many robots have you seen with chaining IRL?
If it's seen IRL then most likely.

I would allow realistic chaining.

I don't think chaining motors would work, you'd have to have some hideously complicated wiring arrangement.

Have you ever heard of that pesky little thing known as wires?

You cannot stack, chaining may be OK, but I will judge by seeing the bot

Oh come on vertigo!
Chaining is in no way realistic, and to allow it in a tournament that has a stricter realistic rule than standard dsl rules is ridiculous!

That is actually a very good point, forgot about the enforced realism for a minute XD

So no, chaining is not allowed

I now have entries from GK, Mike and ty4er

However, I have not been online at all for the past three days, (due to being away in London)
As some of you will be aware, I won't be around Fri/Sat/Sun due to the FW UK Champs at the NEC

Entries are still great, just don't expect them to be sorted/accepted untill Monday :P
