the funniest thing is that when i saw this tournament was about people choosing each a bot type to put it in a randomizer, i IMMEDIATELY thought of hammer

although the manliest of robot types is rammer you ignorant, hammer is only second or third manliest

You can only choose single robot types, that means no hybrids.

More seriously, if this is ironforge maybe you should ban SnS. And crawler, and trinity bots.

So the banned list is currently Gyro Drills, Crawlers, SnS and Trinity Spinners.

To be honest I fail why would you ban gyro drills... gyro drills suck and are borderline unusable anyways.

and that includes VS that spikeball gayly all around the arena cuz people can't build stable VS.

They seem good. You will probably need a display of what bot types have already 3 entries and are therefore unavailable in signups, though.

edit: maybe put stronger rules on the "all bots must show controlled movement" rule. If a VS starts by spikeballing, something's obviously wrong

You could always implement an (x) seconds of uncontrolled movement = Automatic elimination or restart rule.

It's an OOTA arena though, so I don't think it's that big of a deal.
