Technically, I've disallowed cheatbot parts, HOWEVER, If I get no complaints about it before signups start, I'll make this one exception.  Your stock bot will still be bound by DSL realism however.

BTW, i'm green tickin this now.

I know you've green ticked this but could you allow skinning components? Or have you allowed it under rule #5? I can't tell.
My replica atm is a mish mash of different things and if I could skin certain parts then it would look a lot better.

Not gonna lie, this is the only thing that's even made me slightly interested in RA2 for a fair while. Cake for the win. :P

skinning components is fine, just make sure you send it along with your bot.

Hopefully I saw this thread.

This is a great idea and I am definitely in.

Now to make a gigantic killer arthropod... won't be a walker though.

For those of you getting your feet wet for the first time with SHW class. I would like to direct you to my favorite location to obtain an anti-ballast.

Can we make replicas of fictional things, like say a Dalek?

Of course.  It can be anything other than an actual bot used for the sport of robotic combat.

Psuedo-interesting tidbit:  The idea for this tourney came from two sources.  One, I thought about making a TARDIS bot.  Two, a real life bot.  Points for the first one to guess it

It's gotta be grannys revenge.

Also possibly because of this I now have an inexplicable urge to create a teapot robot IRL. :P
