since almost every bot uses cheatbot2, and i can't get dsl to work, can i send in a stock replica?

(stock parts are cheatbot2 in dsl)

Sorry Wolf- it doesn't work that way. Stock parts are horribly weak in DSL, and it's not about building reps- it's about building new robots from only the parts of the DSL reps.

No, that's not how it works either. You take only the components found on one of the DSL replicas, and make a new robot out of them.

Very simple.
You go into exhibition and find out which team/bot no Chaos 2 is. Presuming the first team (Red Zone) in the list of ai teams is Team 0 in the ai folder. You count down from the first team down to team RIOT, which is team 12 in this case.

You then find out which .bot file it is. The bot in the box furthest to the left is Bot0.bot and the bot furthest to the right is Bot5.bot . As chaos 2 is furthest to the right Chaos 2 is Bot 5 in folder Team12.

You then go into the ai folders, find the right Bot file, copy and paste into the robot designs folder and open in Ra2. From there it is just a matter of going to the bot lab and seeing what parts Chaos 2 uses. Then using cheatbot2 to trawl through the categories to find them. Then building the robot.

2 more qusetions about the tourney
1. Can it be a different bot type of the replica you have chosen (For example Panic Attack is a flipper but I change it to a Hammer)
2. What does the rulesn mean when its says `in-game glitches allowed but within realism`?

1) Yep, I think Click entered a robot using Beta parts which is a horizontal spinner. And someone entered a Judge remake that's a rammer.
2) I'd say just ignore it and build realistically. Personally.

It means you can use things such as the eFFe glitch, or Axle Loading at a stretch, provided that none of it breaks the DSL Realistic Rule. Stacking is prohibited, though.

It's been quiet in RW Virtual too. I wonder why Tournaments are not so popular anymore... even there is about 50 active members =/

I was wondering the same thing too. Then I checked out the forum stats and noticed that overall activity takes a huge hit in September. Members have less time due to school I guess.
