WRONG.

According to section 1.4 of the rules:
1.4. Bot file editing is only allowed if the bot fits all of the above regulations.

1.0. All participating bots will be using DSL 2.1 components.
1.1. All bots must obey the realistic rule.
1.2. All bots must weigh under 175.1 kg.
1.3a. Only static components that are not motors, batteries, or control boards can be intersecting.
1.3b. Stacking static components of any type, however, is not allowed.
1.4. Bot file editing is only allowed if the bot fits all of the above regulations.

Nothing about editing the weight here.
