Even though it's been some time since the epic saga of Metal Mayhem concluded, we finally got round to creating our award thread.
As Jonzu could not host this thread, I'm doing it on his behalf. Here, you can vote for each robot in the tourney that you approved of most for each category. For reference, here is the original thread-

And here are the different categories.

- SFTW Award- Simply put, the award for the robot you thought was the absolute worst entry of the contest.

- Best Design- The award for the robot design that appealed to you most, in terms of how they were built and how they performed in combat.

- Best Paintjob- This one is reserved for the machine that you thought had the best paintjob in the show.

- Unluckiest Robot (BTRSHDBBDDTBL)- This one goes to the robot that you think really should have done better, but couldn't due to bad luck.

- Best Battle- They've pretty much all been exciting, action-packed confrontations, but here, you can vote for your personal favourite battle in the series.

- Funniest Moment- Simular to the Best Battle award, but this one is decided on the moment that most had you in stitches!

VOTING CLOSES ON OCTOBER 3rd, VOTING AND NOMINATION IS OPEN TO EVERYONE, INCLUDING THE TOP 2 AND YOURSELVES.

why you guys are voting Dirt Devil 2 for SFTW? It was the most realistic robot of those! It also was my favourite...

But all in all, even though it was debatably more realistic, it was more of an underarmed RA2 toy more than a fighter. Bit like the DSL replicas almost- fun to watch and use, but ultimately not that functional in a real fight.

Thank you Jonzu. Kinda running gag that one of the Dirt Devil series is votet as SFTW. May throw DD3 into one of the upcomming tourneys for the lulz :P

I don't know Thyrus, we've got some great competitors in the running for this besides myself. Quite a few, in fact! SSUUTB, O-Zone, Thwartoise, T72, Repulsor and that waffle robot all have fantastic paintjobs, IMO.

Well it's obvious that nobody cares about this, so I'll just do the obvious awards now-

SFTW- Dirt Devil 2 (Honourable Mention: Belgian Waffle)

Best Paintjob- Thwartoise (Honourable Mention: MeaCulpa 2)

Best Battle- The Grand Final (MeaCulpa 2 vs O-Zone 5)

Funniest Moment- Repulsor flying out of the Arena (Honourable Mention: Dementia Killing itself on Toxic)

It would appear that the voting for the Best Design (Repulsor and Thwartoise) and the Unluckiest Robot (Repulsor and Epicycloid) have tied for votes, so I'll extend the voting to Friday. Please vote!

you should be happy you got half the entry list size in votes..

everyone hasnt had a lot of awards voters all year..

I got 14 for CC3 out of 40 entrants.. thats less then half...

I will place a vote for Thwartoise for best design but I didnt watch a single video so I cant break the tie on the other one
