I'd still go with selecting which bots to use by having team votes on which of their bots is going to be used in the next round. it seems like it would add a layer of strategy to the tournament, which truly make the most use of the team gimmick. It means bots can be used to instantly counter another bot if they think the opponent will use it. A little bit of chance but mostly strategy.

Early on this wouldn't seem to make a difference, but as the available pool of opponents dwindles it becomes more of a team strategy of which bot to put forward.

Thank you.
This tournament is not under copyright by me. Feel free to rip-off this in every way shape and form.(Image removed from quote.) DSL (And DSC color pack) IRL (Shut up)HW1 entry per person16 entrants with 8 entrants per team. [Will increase if it fills fast enough(Up to 16 on each team)]When entering a robot, you must say whether you are on team light or team dark, or you will be rejected.CF and BFE allowedCustom textures allowedBanned bot types: Multibots,Swiss army, and SnSCheatbot2 dissallowedNo joke bots: I reserve the right to deny any bot that I think is weak or impractical. I will also not be as lenient with the IRL like i did with Avalanche vs Bacon.Updating robots is allowed until splash is posted.Havoks will not disqualify anyone. Rather, I will restart until a clean finish is found.Judging will be done by Aggression:(Amount of hits) Control: (The one that flew/was shoved the least) and Damage: (The in-game scoring) My arena of choice was a bit different from the norm...The league of champions arena from the RW mod is a large one. Flippers might struggle OOTAing... If you didn't catch it up in the rules, when submitting a bot, you join a team. After sign-ups, each team will nominate one team member to be the captain of the team.At the beginning of each match, the team captains will PM me which 4 robots will fight in the next match-ups. This number will decrease to half of the losing team each round. This will loop until no robots are left on one of the teams. I have chosen my team already. So know that I'm not favoring the stronger team.Challenge I prepared for the worst.7 bye bots in no particular order.OCD2LegionRay VIILaunch Pad IIMeteorWreck ReloadedLost CausePlease refrain from telling others your team.Though I cannot stop you from PMing each other, I highly recommend you don't. Me and Moully are entering. Shall be sending our bots soon.
I haven't seen playzooki's and TGM's entries, but I'm not entirely sure what grounds you can really fault them on when you consider this work of modern art:(Image removed from quote.)as "IRL" enough to use as a byebot.
