Reier: forget about the target completely, I attach them using mads smart zones so don't worry, I just have the target for download encase anyone wants to have some fun with it

Sonny_Resetti: modifying is fine, everyone can do it once if they have already sent a robot, same as BBEANS rules

ok there are people dropping out, not dropiing out, updating, maybe competing, etc and so this makes managing the first post list rather hard so here is the deal

forgot about the list on post one, basically if you want to join this tournament send me a bot before the 29th of Sep and your in the tournament, I will work out a bracket from then

ok here is what u do
go to the dump and get 3 computers from there.
using the parts from the other 2 fix up one and boot it with 98 or xp
put ra2 on it.

my media pc was created that way :)

He is saying get 3 computers that would seem like they work from the scrap yard and then switch parts ifrom the other computers to one working one and install windows and RA2 on that.

Tough ,if you want a good one, buy stuff from a reliable provider, like I did, the parts should be at the post office tomorrow :D

Anywhays what kind of problems youre having with the computer? Looks like it works fine, is it just RA2 not wanting to startup?
I once got that the game worked fine, then I exited and cheked out the forums and went back to game and it didnt start up. A reboot fixed this weid lil prob.

Joe, I've just had a bunch of projects come up, and there's no way I'll be able to redesign my bot in time. Forget what I said about modifying my entry, I'll keep it in the tourney as is.

yeah I have a fair bit of stuff on early next week and given the still slow amount of entry's I am going to stretch the date until next Friday (Oct 2nd) that should cover it

the first post list has been changed, once again if you want to enter just send me something before the due date (whether your on the list or not doesn't matter)

many people are going underweight for the sake of speed so just tip it over the 400 mark if you want to use it, it tends to make the bots faster
