I can possibly push that date further but I need 5 more people and I will expand to 32 (I can always add in a couple "house" jousting bots)

actually I just had a thought....I may as well join too so 4 more people at least for a 32 expansion with 6 places in total available

Ya you might as well join:smiley:. If you and jack join and nobody else does then you will only have to make 3 house jousting bots.

ok so this is a possable idea

shave the bracket down to 28 (so one more space open or can be filled by a "house" jousting bot)
so after round 1 there will be 14 remaining,
round 2 there will 7 remaining
and out of the 7 losers I take the robot that scored the highest amount of points in round 2 and return them to the bracket
giving 8 which can continue with a normal bracket

sound good ? Im just thinking as it looks like I will be pushing it for 32

I totally agree with this because this thread been up for awhile and I think most everybody has seen it. Also if you did this you will be able to start the tourney sooner. This is going to be a fun tourney I just know it:-D. You also could do a loser bracket to if you wanted;).

I might make one after the final 4 have been decided, that means a 24 bracket, it would be separate from the main bracket however (so no winner vs winner final) I plan of whipping up a few novelty prizes for the winners.

so deadline time send in bots you have until the 23rd of September to get your entries in (added another week because the bracket was only just decided)

I like the idea:smiley:. For the prizes you should have medeival type prices or something, For example I think a prize like The Excalibur sword would be cool:cool:.

2 70cm pole spikes arnt that good, dont forget pole spikes have normals so only the tips do damage

prize for the grand champion and its a big one (literally)

its shown here in stock but it is a DSL weapon.... in fact (cross promotion) it was a possible Clash Cubes 3 prize I made. using the Beetle Brothers formula the damage potential is an enormous 1200 (excessive for stock but it was designed as a DSL weapon) it also has its own sound files :-D
