No, I will not do this. True popups are popups anyway, as well as weaponed flippers (though really there is no point to enter a flipper here), so I will not weasel in a true popup with silly rhetorics.

I have a better plan in mind.

Note this doesn't prohibit you from making a half-crawler. I just don't want any pure crawlers because they would make the wheel rules complicated.

Easy, if your crawler has wheel drive in addition to saw/disc/tribar drive then it is a half-crawler.

dude u srsly fail at loopholes

1-This is stock, you CANNOT make a motor that both supports wheels and crawler weaponry unless you do something truly stupid, messy and seriously inefficient like chaining drive motors.

2-"All bots must move via wheels" IS NOT the same thing as "you must have powered wheels on your bot"

"All bots must move via wheels" means you must have at least 2WD as your main means of propulsion.

I hope this doesn't totally mess up anyone's entry for this... but if it does, that's why we have discussion threads posted 1+ month in advance.

I've been thinking, and with a creative chassis shape, it is still possible to make an almost impenetrable front with only 8 casters. But it's pretty much impossible with 6. Therefore, I am reducing the maximum number of casters allowed from 8 to 6.

I don't want bots with impenetrable armor. I'm only allowing casters to patch up small holes in your defense, or to toughen up the corners on your bot a little bit, or add some decent gut-ripper defense, or (gasp!) actually use them as intended for balance. Otherwise this tournament would have the potential to go on indefinitely.
