EDIT: Just realised why its happened. Youtube said the video was shaky and tried to fix it. This is the result. I will have it fixed soon. I will use the youtube settings in video manager editing to fix the stability.

TL,DR: Axe Bot, Panzer Strike have possibly dodgy AI, great banter definitely has bad AI, kekscopes is ok,
new video soon, will be sped up 2x so dont use audio.

EDIT: Video up, and in testing only great banter has issues with driving. Im putting that down to too fast motors.

have you tried lowering the turnspeed and turn in the bindings

I don't understand why my bot keeps faceplanting. It's been in several other tournaments and it's never done that.

No real surprises in the remaining round 1 matches (BTW, good match Agaton), or the second LB round 1 fight (rimp in peace Axe Bot).  I'm happy that EB got underneath Panzer Strike at least, but I feel that I didn't deserve that win since Panzer Strike was pinned against the wall.

Round 2 predictions:

Match E:  Gamo.  Hard to call this one because it largely depends on which MW Gamo goes after first.  I lean toward Gamo just because even though it might not cause as much damage to the VS, it can certainly push it around with ease.

Match F:  Trinity 4ce.  Reluctant to call this one as well after seeing the outcome of round 1 match 3, but faster drive, a weapon that's harder to stop, and a better protected chassis give Trinity 4ce the advantage that Roboenza didn't have.

I think i set the range too high for the drum. Ill lower it a bit in the next match to try and stop it.

You absolutely deserved that match. Straight away you took away a spike, then you got under me, then you controlled me and slammed me around. And a win is a win.

I had to double speed Agaton VS Playzooki, and i couldent get the mute on only one of the clips so the entire thing has no audio.
EDIT: So with my brilliant logic because i didnt want to update the bracket before the video was out, i did the losers bracket with what i THOUGHT were the matches. Infact i got them the wrong way round.

As for my second match, I start to hate multibots more and more  Still confident Gamo can win the whole thing.

How Jellybean manages to trip itself is quite tragic actually. Weird stuff if this is the first time.

Maybe you're right.  I just don't consider pinning a real method of winning especially when the pinned robot is still perfectly capable of controlled movement.  IMO You can hold them for a few seconds but you have to let go.  No matter: there are no rules allowing free restarts for pinned robots and the matches have been uploaded, so best to just proceed with the tournament.

Still confident Gamo can win the whole thing.

You've definitely got your next match in the bag.  I'm a bit more optimistic after seeing the outcome of the fake rematch between us two, but knowing my luck it's highly likely that won't happen again.  In all honesty though you don't stand a chance against Trinity 4ce  , but again who knows what will happen?

Hello people. Id just like to apologise for the lack of updates, i took the christmas off and i havent been doing much recently due to laziness and school starting, but i will have the finishing matches up in the next week.
One thing though: Challonge is saying that there will be a match after the final if necessary. Im assuming this is if the loser bracket bot wins the final, it has to win again. Should i do this or just go with 1 final. I intend to do the 1 final because it isnt very fair if the loser backet bot dominates but then just loses out in its second match. Poll is going up.

Yes, I feel that the loser bracket winner needs to win twice to be the champion in a double elimination bracket. The format of a double elimination bracket has competitors that have lost once get a second chance in the bracket. This also applies to the competitor that remained undefeated in the winners bracket because of how a double elimination bracket works and how fair it is for everybody. Take a look at BBEANS 4-6, for example. In all three of those tournaments, the winner of the losers bracket beat the winner of the winners bracket and because that competitor was undefeated, The LB Winner needed to win again. I even took that rule into account in my last tournament, Dynamic Duos. No offense, but I don't think I need to explain something like that.
