BLEVE works like Heaven's Sawmill guys.  It's been done before and works well if I can get under opponents.

Admittedly, the deathmatch version of BLEVE is the one I'm least confident in... it needs better drive and a better wedge to be really good.  I expect to do better in tabletop and king of the hill.

Also, I hate to point this out at this point in the tournament, but doesn't Chizzle violate the realistic rule?  The weapons would clearly intersect the motors when they are spinning.

To lack feeling is to be dead, but to act on every feeling is to be a child.

BLEVE it or not Click -no pun intended- but Chizzle actually qualifies quite nicely.

It does nick the axle pieces just a little bit, but I will let it slide as its nothing major and happens often in realistic bot building.

If looks like it, if so then it is a problem. It might just be the picture though.
Any comments would be appreciated. :D

Clickbeetle is right. The weapons would intersect the motors when they spin.

Can't say I'm too optimistic about my chances in this. Thanks for the comment though, Philetbabe.

Yes, it IS unrealistic. But who cares... it still sucks.

Haz, about your chances, did you AIed your bot and tested your wedge? If it can beat, say Enfilad3, Hazcon and DOAM, it has good chances, i think.

I did extensive tests on the wedges. It gets under Slashback easily if that's any indication.
As for AIing I'm quite a noob but it runs off the Omni.py

Well, it should be pretty decent then, with Slashback having the best wedge of the MW's.

I am worried about Wham's wedges, but if I can avoid immediately being flipped out I think I have a chance.

ANNOUNCEMENT

Due to my new job position in a growing company and change of major in college from mechanical engineer to webmaster (in a feel that it would better benefit us all) I am going to have to postpone the ELBITE Super Tournament until further notice. This DOES NOT mean that I will just leave this tournament unfinished as the other members have. I just need to pick up the slack on my work-I am greatly overwhelmed with things to do. Apologies for this inconvenience and I will announce the re-opening of the tournament. All contestants will still stay as is and I will not accept new entries however.

I hope this is most understandable and again I will let you guys know when ELBITE will continue. Hopefully I will also include ESIS again on my return to this wonderful forum- a promising project.... Thank you

---UPDATE---

ELBITE is back on the air of robot arena tournaments! And the final splash is done... KOTH! Check out your competitors on the competitors link on my page.

Videos will be posted on each arena so keep an eye out for em, as well as some bracket vids as well, afterward.

May the Battle Begin....

Ok so now... new predictions.

Widowmaker- And again a HS from Somebody... While it isn't badly built, i doubt about the efficiency of that thing if inverted.

Punisher- It looks very cool, but SLOOOOWWWW as heck =not good on a poker.

HR-E- Jugglers are NOT designed for KotHs.

Equal & Opposite- This one looks pretty nice to me - excepted that it does not look invertible...

BLEVE- Are these 2 wedges, on the front and on the rear, to bring a bot charging BLEVE from behind into the spinner as well? If yes, it's a nice touch. I'm kind of dubious about the self righting though.

Li-ewl Terrier- Hammer arm looks kinda short. Otherwise it's not too bad excepted exposed wheels.

Arcarsenal- One of ROBO's popups. If it's better than Enfilad3 it's going to own - i've tested and E3 performs well on KotHs.

Skirmish 3- Also known as Undertaker. Nice little AI surprise that you guys will see and that hopefully will help me getting faster to the point zone. It can self right all the time, has decent armor, protected wheels, and can flip bots out of the  while making damage. True popups are good KotH bots, though the thing that worries me are the really good wedges.

TDL2- Another of the top competitors right here. Wheels are horribly exposed on a 4-bot KotH though.

Chizzle- First SFTW. Unrealistic-ness won't help horribly exposed weapon motors and lame wedges.

Wegi- While a flipper technically is a great idea on a tabletop, this one is still a SFTW. It could win a match if it gets lucky and falls on non-invertible and non-srimech opponents, but i really can't say why the heck did S32 used exposed polycarbonate sheets for a flipper's weaponry.

Pandemic- wat

Zapper 8,5- While it is one of the best builds here, it would just have been SO much better as a popup rather than a hammer... I can see the primary strategy of this bot is pinning an enemy while hammering on it - but pinning in non-existent on a KotH.

Razor III- I call these hammers 60kg wasted... plus that won't make much of a difference with such HUGE EXPOSED wheels. Not enough razors and too slow for a wammer anyways.

Spawn of Francium- Not invertible. This uses juggler tactics, and jugglers doesn't works on KotHs.

Titanium Chicken- I like this bot. It's pretty nice, though the extender work could have been better and it's probably going to lose to a wedge.

Lion King- This has the potential to fare well, since the weapon height might guarantee complete invertibility.

Nar, The reason I have polycarb skirts on wegi is for more flipping power. The light load (Those bars are the small ones) means bigger flips. I've sent HWs OOTA sometimes.
