Debate: Should RA1 Tourneys Be Accepted Here?
« on: June 23, 2011, 01:46:51 PM »
I was thinking of doing an RA1 tourney. But then I realized I had to do a debate before I start it. I'm with For. Who's with Against?

This is how it could work: The competitors show me a screenshot of their 'bot, then I have to try to replicate it. Since it's impossible to AI in Robot Arena 1, I have to control it.

Nobody would want to enter this anyway, so save yourself the time and leave it be.

Not bad idea, but I disagree with you controlling. And I guess RA1 is too hard to edit I guess...

I dont understand why people shoot down OK ideas. I've never played RA1, but I could try to join into one if possible.

Does RA1 even run on new computers?  Can anyone attest to successfully gettign it running on anything newer than Windows 98?

Before I would start it, I would need to know how to enable chassis damage.
