Clash Cubes 1 was originally a 1 off tournament as learning curve for me

due to the support it got I decided to make a trilogy with another soon after and the 3rd half a year after the seconds completion

beyond 3 its fate would sit with how well they went.. so much controvercy, complaining, etc in this one which has been so tiring (not forgetting to mention annoying) so basically this is it.... no more after this....

I dont necessarily need a break (however I will take one from this website after this tournament I think) but I am over Clash Cubes, its pretty much done. so it may as well go out now then even crappier, Time to move on

Well I think that Clash Cubes will go down as the most popular non-BBEANS tourney to date. And always remember that it was very appreciated. Even BBEANS will probably end someday, so its kind of inevitable that this would happen.

However, I would suggest for Joe that instead of leaving all together (and making everyone sad

), he stays (

) but stops modding and all of those other things that make people bitch at him all the time for a while.

it was always my goal.. I went over the top for this tournament trying to crack the 32 mark.

2-3 months in pre planning, 2 new arenas, new prize components GMF's (not just re-skinned stuff this time), format to allow everyone to see there robot at minimum 3 times, 4 new AI.py files for robots in an attempt to get them right for users,

and its ended up with half the people complaining to me over there losses :/ not exactly the trade off I was looking for when trying to make an awesome tournament for you all.

This isnt directed at anyone in-particular so you dont have to go defending yourselves.. I just merely want you to realize how much goes into tournaments (in general) to try and bring you some fun and excitement.

go ahead an bash luck like crazy, post ragetoons, say aww that sucks, etc.. I wont stop you but be wary about what your really bashing when you think about things like the arena or AI.

The people who entered SnS knew what the arena was going to be, so they can't blame the arena, they can blame themselves for taking the risk of entering a SnS.
And to the ones who are complaining about the AI of your bots, AI it yourself so you don't have to blame Joe.

My first match was awesome on how it came down to pushing power.

@Joe: I think that when people are doing something or recently have done something big, all they focus on is the bad stuff, but then the good things become more prevalent in there mind as time goes on. I went to a Red Sox game in 2005, and the seats were horrendous. That was all I focused on for about 6 months, but then I realized that I was lucky to just go to it, and in retrospect it was great.

The effectiveness of Tritons robot from that match actually comes from its ability to drive up walls (small chassis, uber fast drive, really grippy wheels)

made it easier to throw 123 oota (since it was under it a lot)
