like S32 said it was a bit of luck getting it that high but nothing was broken off either bot in that match and the fraps rate stayed constant so no havok

Yaay for being 10th :D

And I'm looking forward to the match against R0B0, should be interesting.
Hopefully I'll do well after my defeat to him in Brawl of the Builders.

Great match Sage. I was a little scared in the third round when Super SnS kept wobbling.
I built that big robot on that TV show that time

Woah, the end of the first bout was pretty dramatic (in the Scramjet/HC match)

I agree. Hellish Charm can't be low enough and Scramjet's hammers can't be high enough for a launch like that. And the 2nd match can serve as a pretty good example of what 'hanging on' truly is. :D

if it was it was really well covered up... basically I have looked over it and (the usual) no parts had come off bots, FRAPS rate was constant (it usually fluctuates in havoks) I think it wasn't so much Hellish Charm but ScramJets run up.... take a look at Doomkiller vs SSG... so many times TTM or Decoy nearly go out the arena after a charge... its just a thing i have noticed when fast robots ram spinners

Edit: also on the pit thing I forgot to say... I was going to call it the same as Yayoi vs LRA2 but when I do that it goes by points and Urjak had it either way so save the extra editing I just left it

Good thing my vlad spikes were stuck in there position and urjak's was flailing so I stayed up longer.

yeah static weaponry makes a better APD.. but like I said before If I called it like COID the result would have been the same so I just cut back some time

I'm still not convinced about the outcome of the first match but it's your call after all.

ok I looked over the video a few times and then conducted an investigation with the following attributes

  • single match in the robot wars arena
  • Hellish Charm (AI'd)
  • ScramJet (human controlled in an attempt to simulate)

Conclusion... I have found that Hellish Charm was able to pick up ScramJet a few times.. so combined with the speed ScramJet was charging at... it was mostly luck ScramJet ended up were it did in battle one but legit none the less

So, are you gonna do the next round of the Loser's Bracket now, or straight on to the Semi's?

Nice matches as always :)
Especially liked ED wheeling across the arena, lol.

I suspect the rear armor/weapons probably played a big role in my winning that match.
