It's smashed shell spinners hard enough to make them Mauler dance and flip over plenty of times, but I've never seen one flip that high. Maybe something to do with how much mass it has spinning relative to the chassis and drive. Either that or a partial Havok.

But alas, Timber needs more frontal armor... I underestimated how powerful SHW shell spinners can be. If Timber could have got in a few more hits, I could have just kept taking off ED's side panels until it destabilized.

Also good fighting by Bob and Bill. I didn't think they would stand a chance against Somebody, but they were just two chassis hits away from a win in that first round.

Edit: Aw crap, looks like I get ROBO in the losers bracket. Even if I get under him (which I'm not confident I can do), he's got armor plates as well as his weapon protecting the chassis... going to be a tough fight for me

Yup I saw that, it has a lot of torque when it's retracting too.

At least I succeeded in entering an entertaining bot, if not a winning one. But maybe I can still get lucky.

If FdO can drive straight, I'm in good shape. If not, I better hope that Titanium 10 and some disk panels are enough to stop a bot that resembles a demented giraffe during mating season...

rankings are now updated

with everyone now had a match the rankings are getting more competitive a few things you make want to note, second place has changed (thats right someone is after Somebody) as well as a few people new in CC2 have over taken people who fought in CC1

sorry I use transparent masks over the bracket for the links and moved that one down to copy the text so it was actually on top of red v h@z but its fixed now :-D

It seems to me like that the pit hatch gave some boost for Decays flight, I can see it shake pretty bad when Decay takes off.

Should be interesting - the Wiki says rammers are weak against VS's, but I dunno, I'm not sure on how long my disc can withstand battering...

I had a close look and I believe your right.. Timber was so powerful that when it smashed ED on the pit the Floor go pushed downward but as the pit was not open it bounced back up helping to catapult ED... what a bot click :-D

PREDICTIONS TIME!

Somebody over Sage: Super SnS is more powerful, and Mammoth's weapon doesn't carries enough KE to throw Super SnS OOTA. SSnS will repeatedly hit Mammoth's drum and probably win by points.

Reier over Urjak: Reier out-weapons Urjak's bot and has enough drive to pin it in a corner. Plus, Hellish Charm can havok but not Scramjet, and with the havok rule...

Doomkiller over MikeNCR : Just like my bot, Grindhouse's wheels are horribly exposed, and a perfect target for a dual gut-ripper multibot that i think can make it to the finals.

Myself over H@zm47 : I'm taking a wild guess here and saying Blade Wave can either gut-rip successfully Exponential Decay, rip off a motor, get a havok, either rip off enough axles to get another havok, and i think i can make him forfeit by havok. Won't probably get a WBP, and in no way i can KO it with Ti halfplates under it's chassis. I'm pretty much afraid that if he doesn't havoks, i'm toast.

Losers Bracket

Flying_Chao over Craaig: Vertical spinners doesn't always have the edge over rammers, and Shinigami's not powerful enough to toss such a rammer. However, Please Die can get Craaig's bot (rather unstable bot, by the way) OOTA or rip off the Dual Perm.

R0B0SH4RK over Clickbeetle: This fight mostly comes to who has the better wedge and i am absolutely sure R0B0 has. Plus, FdO's more stable and faster than Timber.

Pwnator over Jack Daniels: I know huge-ass single FS like that reduce horribly the bot's wedginess, even if the wedge is very well built - ask Monstruosity. Pwn WILL out-wedge Jack, tear it's bot to shreds and get the win.

Condor33 over Trumpetguy: While C33's bot is naturally unstable and will most likely pull off an Archimandrite, TG's bot is MUCH slower (blame the neglected weight distro on a VS) and has a weaker weapon - flight lessons guaranteed.

System32over Man Manu: Similar to MM's previous fight.

Ribbs over Russian Roulette: Ribbs has luck, he's fighting a SnS, an easy fight for a VERY powerful VS when you have a near-immobile opponent. Sky High will probably toss Hypercube OOTA or on it's back... if he doesn't gets OOTA by itself *cough*.

Scrap Daddy over SSG: And another match JoeBlo will like to film ! Scrap's bot is more powerful, that's the main thing.

Redline over Linck: Well Redline's bot did managed to damage a halfsheet-armored shell spinner last match, and a pretty well built one. However, this time he's fighting a particularly unprotected horizontal spinner, and an unstable one. While his weaponed flipper isn't very powerful, it will be enough to gut-rip Linck's small unprotected chassis to death.

Exposed wheels, FSs aren't very good with 1+ opponents, I'll hand the win to Doom here.

H@zm47 vs Naryar: H@zm47 barely
Either Nar could punch through H@z's armor, or H@z could knock Nar off to the side with every blow. Flails are also very good at getting WBPs too. But I'm not sure.

F_C vs Craaaaiaiaiaiag: FC
VS can OOTA rammers, (boy, I learned that lesson in BBEANS) but Craaig's disk diamiter is so small it will have problems. Plus, FC's hammers are kinda narrow in the way they're arranged, so Craaig will have some problems getting a hold of them. FC wins here.

CB vs R0B0: R0B0
CB's bot is awsome. But he falls flat if his wedges aren't as good as his opponent's, and I'm pretty sure they aren't. I really want it to win though... =(

JD vs Pwnator: Draw
I'm pretty sure JD has the better wedge, but who knows.

Condor33 vs Trumpetguy: C33
Archy fest, But I'm pretty sure C33 will pull off a win here.

System32 vs Mainmanmenumanumanthing: S32
S32 spins even faster than SuperSNS and has a smaller diameter, so there's less of a chance of it getting flipped up in the air on a collision.

Ribbs vs Russian: Actually Russian
If Ribbs runs into the ninja effect he did earlier, he's toast.

SSG vs Scrap Dadday: SD
Flails are point machines.

Linck vs Redline: Red
Small chassis, weak drive? If Red gets in fast enough, Linck is down.

but as the arena is set out (not being a square) Grindhouse will likely target Decoy in the first match then TTM the second and if there is a third Decoy again

just hope decoy doesn't pit its master again lol
