Micro Mayhem - DSL Beetleweight AI Tournament
« Reply #140 on: August 16, 2009, 07:58:06 AM »
My entry is probably just plain generic, but very damaging, beats all the stock BW's anyway.
Achievements:
  • Entered doomed robots and will be owned by a GAY CRAWLER! and Inf!
  • Will get owned in 2v1 challenge because my entries are RUBBISH!
  • Entering mirco mayhem with, a (probably) generic  bot.
  • Entering RAW2
* Crawlers are gay, if you agree with me, copy this into your signature. *

LOL.....my bot was built in less than 3 hours and is junk. It is the least of worries in this tournament. I plan on entering more tournaments, so they should get better as time passes, but that is the first DSL bot I have made in four years and I never really built good DSL bots back when DSL first came out.

My bot was built by my friend. It was so good he let me use it in the tourney (but it was modified for the tourney)

^I find it difficult to think of your bot looking dumb, much less what it looks like at all...

Mine will most likely lose

I'm still trying to figure out a way to force everyone into a 3 or 4 bot rumble without anybody getting bye rounds.

Or save the rumble for the last 4 bots after the tournament is over.

I think the rumbles are key to the entire tournamet.
Any comments would be appreciated. :D

In earlier revisions of the regulations, the Eliminator Round was a prequalifier event designed to allow a greater number of competitors to join in while still having a main bracket with no bye rounds.

I have decided to bring the Eliminator back, but it will only be between two bots instead of four.

I think the eliminator round is probably the best way to go , and since it's only two bots it wont be just by luck like the 4 way eliminator would have been.
