Also, I built my bot already. Might showcase it later for some feedback. It's decent but (traditionally) has some flaws.

4 discs is preferable but 2 would be ok, just maintain a similar wedge setup.

May I ask what's the difference between both?

Popup fires forwards (what you usually see) true popup fires upwards (like a flipper) technically the normal one should be a popdown, but w/e

Don't worry about me G.K., I'll just sit this one out. DSL HW is probably my least favorite class to build in right now. Otherwise I would have made sure to check the forum earlier to see when signups opened. If there were still open spots I might give it a go, but as it is I'm sure the other people (and you) want in more than I do.

It's total crap. The drive is servo motors. I only made it for your sake. Just go ahead and make a VS sawbot. I'll give you a name....uh....Death. Sorry but I can't find the screenshots folder.
