Everybody has the right to think they will do badly. If you're full of confidence and you go out in the first round, you look like a fool. If you have no confidence and you go out in the first round, then at least you didn't fall short of your expectations. I always tend to set the bar fairly low for myself. That way, when I do well, it comes as a pleasant surprise. =D

Quoted for truth. I went into BTTB2 with very little expectation after my disastrous run in the first one, so it was a pleasant surprise to be able to take revenge on Jonzu and defeat both The Ounce and Joe

you used a cheaty unbalanced motor and were fighting a robot that wasnt AI'd correctly (I AI'd it correctly mind you, it just went screwy in Badniks hands for some reason)

He still got a good place, though. The Judge Burst Motor is overpowered. I preferred DSL 2.0 than 2.1 because it still had the good snapper motor, before it was changed to a lifter motor.

Hey I really want to enter this but my computer has firewall and I read that firewall won't allow me to compete in multiplayer, is this correct? If so, how do I get around this?

Don't worry, it's not multiplayer. All you have to do is make your entry, save it as a BOT file, and then send it to GK once he asks you.

Only that you'll need to let GK know you're interested in entering on here, and then he'll sign you up. Once he's done that, he'll assign you a DSL robot to rebuild in Stock (That's the original version of the game).
