Nah. It depends of your perceived skill and charisma. Generally only the good builders get followers. Look at Click, ACAMS, Inf, Pysc, Joe, FB and my humble self.

Technically, it was on topic, because we were discussing some future possibilities, relating to an event in this thread :P
