Blades of Fury^2- Signups closed.

Yep, it is back. With new rules to make this a LOT simpler.

1. DSL MW (no more than 399.0 KG), IRL Realism rules apply. I will check all bots to see if they fit. I will be cracking down on IRL-ness, nothing "borderline". It must be STRICTLY IRL or it will not be accepted.
1.1 Multibots not allowed.
1.2 "Ring Spinners" are legal as long as nothing but the drive intersects the disc. Same with "Motor on top" spinners if nothing but extenders intersect the bar/ring.
1.3 No Metal Hinge wedges. Everything else is OK.
1.4 I will be running JoeBlo's "Narmour Be Gone" patch for this competition.
1.5 Cheatbot 2 parts allowed:
Skinned parts are also allowed but that must be the only modification.
1.6 you can have interchangeable weaponry if you so desire, but the only thing changed can be the weapon and motors powering it, no internals or anything (however if one of your weapons is a poker you may have air tanks for that weapon only). You must specify your choice of weapon before each round.

2. Matches will have a 3 minute time limit and will be held in the Replica Wars Arena (RA2TC Area with no saws)
2.1 All matches are one fight.

3.   Walkers get a 200KG weight bonus, but must spend at least 200kg on the walking system (AKA something that does not use wheels or  weapons as a means of propulsion, but the propulsion cannot be touching the ground at all times or it will be a shuffler). Shufflers (non-wheel drive that always touches the ground) get 100 KG weight bonus.
3.1 Treaded bots get a 60kg weight cushion.

4.   A havok will result in a restart. If the bot Havoks again, the bot  will  be disqualified from the match. If the same bot gets another  Havok DQ  in a later match, the robot will be disqualified from the  tournament  (don't expose your motors).
4.1 If your bot is counted  out and is  still able to move, the match will be re-started. (If the  bot has at least 2 wheels and more than half battery power and is  invertible)

5. No crawlers, popups, jugglers or other bot types that do not exist in real life.
5.1 No unrealistic weapon sizes/quantities
5.2 Bots must show controlled movement


6. No limit on entries, but only 1 per person.

7.   The tournament will be double elimination.

8. BFE is allowed for chassis height ONLY. AAM and Hax Mode not allowed. in-game REALISTIC glitches allowed

9.   As in Replica Wars, I will judge the bots based on Aggression,   Damage,  and Strategy. My definition of Strategy is basically   controlling the  fight, beating the other guy etc.
I will be entering, but I will be fair in judging situations.

10. All competitors must have a good time, no bitching about the AI.

11. Updates are infinite until the splash is posted.


Signups will run for one month.

I'll definitely be signing up for this. For Interchangeable Weaponry, however, does that include the internals and mechanics? For instance, a flipper/axe powered by a Judge Burst, and a spinner powered by a Perm or something?

On the subject of interchangeable weaponry (again), if you had something like a poker and a spinner, would the air tanks have to remain for the spinner?

I think it's shufflers are like crawlers but without weapons or anything and are fast, walkers are slower and don't have the 'leg' always on the ground.

Also i might enter again. idk what to use yet
