alright i was going to gloat over how jonzu lost badly but I think this arena hates rammers, also someone AI'd them rammers with Rammer, which made thes bot immobilize themselves on the border or be immobile when the enemy bot is close enough, and generally manoeuver poorly because of that. literally jonzu lost twice due to that.

so i'm gonna call the bad AI card.

Yeah, I think I might have to redo those matches with Omni so they would have a more fair result. I can't seem to figure out why that doesn't work as well as it has before.

if you're using the updated rammer.py then the arena is at fault too. the updated py uses collision lines to detect obstacles and walls. the cc3 qualifying arena doesn't have any collision lines in its py, so any rammers that use the updated rammer.py can't detect the walls.

Oh right. That's gotta be the issue. Now I do have one question: Should I redo the matches with a different AI line or not? It could provide a result where it doesn't lose to AI error or it could just not matter and waste time. I just would like some criticism for now and next time when I host a tournament. (That might be a while though)

yup. the arena appears to be at fault. it's not only rammers, but is most pronounced on rammer.py tactics.

also it appears that pokers are kings of stock BW, well, that and trinity SnS

Also, I'll get some grudge matches after this tournament if you have any requests. I'll allow one match per member so everyone can send one in. These matches will have the same rules as the regular matches. I don't want to go overboard with this so I won't do as many as RiS. I'm really looking for matches that would seem like a good match which hasn't existed already and not as many rematches since some of you weren't happy with how this has gone so far.
