I made a mock battle video for BBEANS6! It's just an opportunity to show off the shiny new intro sequence I'll be using, along with my entry.

And, I also updated the BBEANS General Rules. I didn't change anything, I just figured it was about time to add the realistic rule, the prizes, and a list of who can use what prizes.

Edit: Oh, and I should mention this before it's too late. If you're planning on entering a melty brain SNS... PLEASE keep the tick interval as high as possible! (Read: higher than Feeblemind or Fireside in Nar AI.) Those melty brain SNS's can lag my game a lot even when I'm not running FRAPS, and I don't want to be recording 15-minute matches.

An AI that has the SnS spin, but also move towards the other bot.

A nd Click, I am really glad that there is a 64 bot bracket. I want the least chance of fighting that as possible.

ANNOUNCEMENT

Meet the official BBEANS6 ByeBot!

Instead of getting a free pass in bye rounds, all bots will face off with Diarrhea Of A Madman!

"But wait!" you say. "DOAM is no ByeBot! How the

are we supposed to beat that thing with a LW?"

Just hear me out. This is a cool idea. Here's how it works:

-You get one shot at DOAM in the Bye round. No best 2 out of 3, and no restarts for any reason.
-You automatically advance to the next round, regardless of whether you win or lose.
-If you lose, then nothing happens. Your score stays the same as it was before.
-If you KO DOAM, then you get 1 win and 1 KO added to your score.
-If you TKO DOAM, then you get 1 win and 1 TKO added to your score.
-If you survive 2 minutes with DOAM, then you get 1 win and 1 WBP added to your score (regardless of whether you actually got more points or not).

The effect of this is that most of the time, byes work the same as they always have and you simply advance without getting any wins. But now, you have a small chance of getting a win if you can beat a really tough ByeBot. I don't expect that to happen very often and it will be something special if it does.

It will also make Byes 1,000,000,000 times more fun, and it's an excuse to bring the Most Fearsome Opponent of BBEANS4 back into the arena

That sounds fun. I should really get to working on some LWs and see if anything can beat what I've already got. Should be fun to see what I can come up with while on Vicodin.

Just remember that you won't necessarily get a bye (in fact there is a chance the bracket could totally fill up and no one gets a bye) so don't take DOAM too seriously. It's just a fun way to make byes more interesting.
