sign-ups filled up on the 17th

that means 18 days click has had so far to AI 67 robots.. I think we can wait longer, dont you ?

Cor, that was a close one. The last Wildcard spot! If I'd waited a bit longer, I wouldn't have been able to enter.
Also, who are these jokers who just popped up out of nowhere to enter and don't post anything on the forum? I'm looking at-

- mjrobots
- Scorpio

Amongst others. Seriously though, have any of them even posted, or have they just come to rob the people whom we want to see compete of their spaces?

Inpblath is a veteran of THE GAME and these forums.
tim700 is powerrave's friend.
Wings was in BBEANS 5, never a prolific poster.
mjrobots is not on GTM, but has been in every BBEANS since BBEANS 3.
Scopio is like inpblath.

Scorpio's been around for quite a while. He posted quite regularly back on the Atari forums, but kinda vanished when the community evacuated to GTM's.

True, but I dont blame him for disappearing, afterall he did recive the second avatar treatment and people didnt treat him too well either.

Clickbeetle has always made sure that BBEANS was open to everybody who wanted to participate, as long as the bot followed tournament rules. It has also always been first come first serve basis. If somebody wants to duck out for a veteran that is one thing, but if you snooze you lose, plain and simple. I made sure my entry was ready in time, as did the people you mentioned. They earned their spot in this tournament. Consider this the official GTM Open tournament.

Also, just for the record Scorpio actually beat me back in BBEANS3, so he's definitely been around for a while (I got payback in all round bot builders championship though, hehehe.

Sorry guys that I haven't been around for a while. I've had an infinitesimal amount of free time lately as I've been rushing to build solitary bee nests and set them up in a park 200 miles away from where I live (it's for my Master's project).

Now it's finals week and I'll be busy again. However, once that's over I'll have more free time and I expect things to start moving right along with BBEANS. So just hang on for another week. Your patience shall not go unrewarded

I am disappointed with you. Coordinating clickbeetle nests would have been a much more interesting master project. It could have even earned you the nobel prize.
