Looks like this filled up fast, and it's a full 64 slot bracket. This place must be more active now than it was when I left. Looks like it's kinda late for me to squeeze in now huh?
I knew I should have checked in before this. I'll check back anyway just in case, but it looks like I've missed my chance.

Maybe there should be provisional positions for the next BBEANS. You know, like in auto racing. They could be for past champions, members that are high in BBEANS standings and general veterans.

Click always maintained BBEANS as fully open (the email entrys allow non members to join also)

its funny though as everyone is trying to cram into 64 bracket yet I ran unlimited entries in CC3 and got only 41 :P lol cant complain as it means less work for me (I feel sorry for you click)

I've sent off my entry. I don't know whether it's too late, or whether I'll be allowed to compete, but I hope Click can make something of it, otherwise that's 20 minutes gone...

Naah, I don't think I'll try to compete for the last spot. It would have been cool to compete in all 6 BBEANS, but if I'd really been serious about it, wouldn't have left for so long, though I have been busy. I might stay around and watch how the tournament goes, but I probably wont enter any 'till finals are over.

If only you got here sooner... me and FB will be lonely being the only people to have been in all 6 BBEANS (or even all 3 DSL BBEANS, for that matter). You might not have gotten in the main event, but if you had a bot ready, you can submit it and I'll put it in the AI pack. Same goes for Pyscolone.

OH WAIT I suppose I ought to mention this here.

In the BBEANS bot showcase, I said that melty brain AI is incapable of avoiding obstacles. But in fact it is capable of avoiding obstacles, and it actually works in the BBEANS Arena. So for anyone who entered a SnS, if you would rather have me use melty brain AI, just tell me and I'll do so. Otherwise I will use FBS_2.py (a non-melty brain SnS that will go after the opponent if it doesn't hit anything for a long time. And apanx really should have called his AI MeltyBrain.py instead of FBS.py, it gets too confusing with FBS_1, FBS_2, FBS, FBSPlus...)

However do note that I adjusted the tick interval on the melty brain AI in order to reduce lag. It may be slightly less accurate, but I've tested it and it still works well.

Also, I will be cutting the center blade's power for the tournament matches, since I've seen several bots get flung OOTA by it, which isn't supposed to happen.

I too am saddened that I came too late. I was planning to check in sooner, but I kinda forgot to. I haven't even looked at RA2 for months.
I do have a bot I could send you for the AI pack I suppose. It's basically a LW SHEBEAST.
