im guessing mines the sucky HS lol I already have an newer version in the works possibly for another tournament, I dont think ill go down too quickly (theres a lot of snow plows to get threw lol)

Looking at the odds of getting a draw I can handle, and the odds of winning if I don't - I really should learn how to make a decent snapper boosted (loaded?) HS.

I think redline got a chance, one of the two bot may side-attack and go easily under their foe.

About Wham, i don't know about its motors, but as the bot seems compact and the arena is not so wide, it may turn more easily than other bots and here again, do side-attack.

My bot is more dangerous than it looks in the splash, but I'm not very happy with it either. I wasn't even planning to enter a HS, because I knew it wouldn't be at the same level as other ones. If I still had Megachick, you probably would have seen a beefed up version of her in the tournament, and I would have entered a lot sooner.
MY favorites for this tournament are 45-70 Magnum by Acams and Bumblebee by Sage.

i think my bot is capable of causing upsets but will get destroyed by pop-ups.. stupid wedges >.<

Against fast, powerful bots like Mace in da face, PitA 8 and AC. Bots that are slower will suffer.

multibots fail cause they can hurt each other.. unless you give each of them decent defense and make them attack in only one direction.

That's why mine are at an advantage. A rammer will actively charge an opponent and an SNS will only stay near the opponent and spin about hoping that it tries to attack.

No. I'm at an advantage because most other bots are more "focused" when it comes to weapons (EG: Seism 13.) This means I have a chance of attacking unprotected areas.

Not if it's a popup. Unless somehow both the enemy and your ally got wedged at the same time.

@Philetbabe: You have a point. Knew it already, but I wasn't counting on the chances. An all direction HS would still rape both.

S32's rammer will probably charge at the enemy and be liquidated, and then his SnS will have to fight alone. S32's strategy will only work if his enemy aims for the SnS first, which isn't likely to happen as the bigger bot will probably aim for the rammer that is attacking it, as opposed to attacking the spinning bot that is waiting. That said, it should create some interesting matches....

With 4 motors to spin weapons, your bot is not so bad and certainly not the worth HS.

As in life, there's always a part of luck in any contest, so you may go far depending of the opponents you meet : 30 % to meet another HS.

according to Naryar there is about 28 % to meet a bad build bot. with such statistics, almost everyone should expect to win its first match with a little luck ... but only half will.

To Natef : well, Tsunami (FTW) has been the object of few jokes, don't mind boy . Sure, it seems that you did not use the full 799Kg of motors and weapons you should have. But first, you should create a (big) surprise during your first match (why not ?), second, the simple fact to participate to a contest will improve you skills and the next time we'll see you, you will be terrific, so be happy to be here.
