When i surch for word "underdog" in my dictionary it says :

Underdog :
1. Already losed competitor.
2. Repressioned/chased/exploitationed person.

Couldn't even begin to pick a winner (esp in this small, obstacled arena). But I would guess either a VS, HS, or FBS. But FS look mean too.....

I don't think mine will do as well as some people are predicting, but if it can get up to speed and not flip over it might do well. But it is just something that I built in 5 minutes, so I don't really know.

no mine is not a popup lol. i am really really bad at DSL but i wanted to enter because i have never entered a BBEANS tournament before

To win a BBEANS needs also a little bit of luck. So if you don't meet the abslute worst case scenario in the first maches, you can go quite far with your bot.

Yes you are bad in DSL and your bot will probably not go farther than the first round. But take it easy, at least you joined. Sadly I didn't. I was to busy and I suck at DSL too. :biggrin:

Very hard to say which bot will win this time. My tip is watch for the tiny bots, with apparently unoffensive appearances. Very interesting are the entries of Infinite and Scrap Daddy. Both are well known for their well elaborated and complicated machines. And now they come up with these seemingly simple FBS. It's because they know the secrets of a decent MW bot: a tiny chassis, less motors and all the weight left goes to the weapons. If you take a closer look many entries use a small chassis. Therefor I think the two bots with track have no chance to win. To much weight was waisted for the drive. (sorry Somebody and Gigafrost)
Personally I would like to see one of these members as the winner:
Clickbeetle, Phlox, Barbie, Pyscolone, Seastalker, Meganerdbomb and Firebeetle. For all of them it's the forth time to join, but they did never win.

My Predictions Edited:

Bras Ouvert- Well rounded placement of weaponry but big wheels could hinder it's performance.

ByeyE- Interesting design and looks f a s t, but may fall prey to wedged opponents.

DoaMadman- A mako clone perhaps? Same attributes as mako... strong attack power, but may have slow spin up time and is non-self rightable.

Enfilad3- The standard popup. I can't get out of my mind the bot Red Red Red! when i see it. I expect it to win a couple of matches, unless theres a blow or two to the unprotected sides.

FRF- Badly armoured and may lose quickly if put against a VS. I even think T I T A N could beat it. Nevertheless it has a good amount of clearance.

go barbie go- Double drill invertable bot. Just as lovely as the Barbie herself <3

Gohem- Another 'mako'. Looks strong but may topple.

hammer sandwich 2- One of my faves, looks unique and is very effective. May lose its momentum if flipped however.

Haymaker- Artistingly crafted and one of my faves. This bot is nicely well-rounded, but may fall prey to rammers...

hazardous contraption- A possible darkhorse, good weponry but may be weak against VS though.

hostility II- A grinding bot? Weapons look too small to me, but its just my opinion.

interventionism 2.0- Sleek, well clearanced, but there could have been a better choice than iron spikes.

iron spaghetti- Cute FBS and looks effective. May snap its own srimech though.

layziee- The bot deals a good array of potential in this BBEANS, but the weapon motor being exposed may hinder its performance.

mace2- There really isn't any armor on this bot. Good choice of weapons but may lose to a FBS like iron spaghetti

no leaf clover- Strange wedge. Another mako clone

no name #12- I actually like the design. But it could easily be flipped.

NOS-BOT- The only bot that uses spiked clubes apart from my bot. But on a face spinner? I doubt it will do much damage...

pysco sweeper- Bear claws do good damage. It also looks like it could get under bots well. I await to see how well it really does.

rage III- One of my faves, effective rammer, but back wheel looks 'pop-offable'.

red red green- Sleek, but very gentle looking. May fall prey to powerhouses like Gohem.

red tide VI- Well built and effective... Is there more to say?

Ripterra- T I T A N's brother. Making the Tank Tread Brothers (TTB)! Weapons look weak though and may go only as far as T I T A N. Which may not be very far...

slasher- Interesting... Looks effective.

smitemare 8- Another mako clone. With all the same attributes...

smoker- Very outstretched in terms of weaponry. It also looks like it will have the 'Jaws effect' (fishtailing).

system failure- My favorite bot. Probably the best hammer bot I've seen in the MW class. But being that it is the only one in this tourny, the matches will indeed be very interesting. This bot ftw.

t4- I expect this bot to be the one that is always flipping others into the blade. Let's see if I'm right.

thumper- A HS with good weaponry. Needless to say that it might have trouble with armored and wedged opponents.

thunderstruck- Spikes look weak, but its just my opinion. Very well armoured and looks powerful.

TITAN- Ripterra's brother, making the Tank Tread Brothers (TTB)! Weapons look weak though and may go only as far as Ripterra. Which may not be very far...

undercutter- Drums could use some sort of protection. But may go far in BBEANS, you never know.
