I think SM is a pretty cool guy, eh builds unicycle-bots and doesn't afraid of anything
but I don't wanna miss signups because I can't get online tomorrow... (therefore having a reason to send early)
As soon as all you cock monglers stop caring so much about winning and more about the spirit of building an IRL bot, this tournament will be awesome. A bot that will put on a cool show or just looks like it could actually be something that was real is 10x more interesting than all of you with the mentality of "hurr check out this hs I built, so irl it only has 2 sledgehammers and its a lightweight. Not to mention that high tech floating axle and my sweet hinge wedges!" or all of you that enter quasi-nar ai dsl bots. In reality, all IRL comes down to is weapon weight, which was why Urjak raped the heavyweight division and preytors bot was so successful, not how the bot would actually function if this was an actual competition. Not to mention that some just totally ruin cool looking bots with all this emphasis on wedges. Not one of my bots I've built has even used a skirt hinge for wedges even though they could have been a of a lot more effective with one and even more frustrating is the cool entries getting beaten by these bots. Just think about for a second, sure you can win sneaking in your ass ton of weapon weight, but the whole tournament is not nearly as fun.

hey freezes, what about putting a strict weapon weight/number limit for each weightclass/bot type in the rules and calling it fair.
I might do a bot for this: LW: Hammer Metal -- A SS with 2 DSL 44kg Hammers.
...2 DSL 44kg Hammers.
QFTAll but maybe 1 of my losses in this tourney (Hard Drive vs Freezerburn) have been against bots built solely for efficiency (NyXL, Toriodore, 8Rec).
