Any update on Retooled?
Quote from: Mouldy on January 13, 2017, 08:24:26 AMAny update on Retooled?Update: I'd really rather not do 3 metas at once. I'll do Retooled once I'm done the other two.

Any news from Mr. AS?
Prizes for our eventual winners have been made:(Image removed from quote.)Here's a rundown of what the prizes actually are. From left to right:(Image removed from quote.)-Smasher: From the compressor arena. Makes for a decent trapping arm on LWs, and a good spinner weapon on MWs. 30 kg, 175 DP and 5350 HP.-Table Claw: From the tabletop arena. Has a higher DP:HP ratio than the smasher or pulverizer. Good for clamps and hammers, possibly usable on a popup as well. 45kg, 395 DP and 4020 HP.-Pulverizer: From the Octogon arena. Makes the satisfying THUD noise you're familiar with when hitting other robots. Useful for MW or HW vertical spinners. 60kg, 220 DP and 10700 HP.-Nuke Wheel: A high grip, high damage wheel with very low HP. Think like a DSL Techno Wheel with even higher grip at the cost of having the Ant Wheel's HP, and also it has the WBC Wheel's additional damage. 24kg, 1.54 grip, 100 HP, and 500 DP*.-Energy Blade: Another high damage, low HP weapon. The disc actually acts like an axle mounted disc*, not unlike the flail rams that were popular a few years back. No piercing damage to worry about, however. 75kg, 835 DP and 3750 HP.-BFS: Also known as the "Big Frickin Sword". Unlike your typical sword component that you'd see in DSL, Ironforge, RWRA2, etc, this sword shoots energy projectiles as well as having contact damage. 100 kg, 13350 HP and 255 DP. Uses 10 gas per shot.None of these have normals to worry about, BTW. Not even possible to put normals on the last three.(Statistics are for thier Retooled versions. Damage, HP and input values may vary from mod to mod.)*subject to change. also, practical damage for wheels seems to be lower than you'd think.Remember, even if you lost your first match, you still have a chance to progress through the loser's bracket to win. Quote from: yugitom on August 19, 2016, 04:48:31 AMPrizes: 1st place (he will have two picks), 2nd place and the rumble winners will have their choice of [the prizes listed]. The winner shall receive a gold ribbon that they can wear next to their name to commemorate their victory! Top 4 will receive the AI pack used to host the tournament with, too. Just for laughs, here's a bit of the "concept art" that I sent yugitom for the prizes. And also the arena. The current version of the arena looks a lot different than the one I planned to use.Despite the recent semi-hiatuses Yugitom has taken, the tourney is nearly 20% complete. Round 1 winners and losers brackets are the largest part of any standard double elimination tournament such as BBEANS or this one. Also take into consideration GTMC is essentially three BBEANS in one tournament. BBEANS 4 took 2 months, BBEANS 5 took 4 months, and BBEANS 6 also took about 4 months. This would mean that if this were going at the pace of the last 3 BBEANS tournaments, GTMC would take about 10 months on average, but considering that about 15-20% of the tournament was done within a month, uploads can easily pick up the pace in a week or two and still be fine.I've also gotten word from Thrackerzod that he may start uploads if Yugi doesn't in the upcoming weeks, who knows. Stay tuned! In the unlikely event that GTMC does gets cancelled, the prize components will just be in retooled instead, no skin off my back.
