Some thoughts on the piles of junk i entered:

IF: Y-Curver was merely me trying to make a LW version of my only IF bot with some form of success, but it's a wedge, and since using a wedge is pretty much russian roulette, i could perfectly get ****ed over really fast

Stock: Why i made this is beyond me... after trying to make a sideways chassis HS and failing cause RA2 is a wonky garbage, i went for a more generic and probably far worse setup, oh well, i'm too rusty at this game to do anything these days....

Retooled: Lightling.... mostly got inspired by Badger s'challenge entry, probably will suck but **** it

At the risk of looking like an absolute idiot when it doesn't go to plan: I'm more confident in my LW than many others are here. I think it's actually a fairly solid gut ripper with a good wedge.

If we're doing analyses of our bots, then I'd better chip in;

-Retooled HW - Metal Munchies: I will admit, I am very much still green when it comes to Retooled, so I wanted to build something I could be confident would not suck. There admittedly wasn't much to test against, though I managed to beat all of the AI HWs at least once with this.

-IF LW - Thrashkar: This is actually the bot with the most battle experience of my entrants. Using rudimentary AIing skills, I built a ton of bots, plugged them into the game, and ran a LW tourney between them and the IF AI. This was the definitive winner, wiping the floor with everyone it went up against. This is actually the second version I've made; the first (and the version that won that tourney) had a way higher chassis, weaker blade, and no side skirts. As for the overall design, I have this to say: some designs are reused for a reason.

-Stock MW - Magnitude: AKA my remider of just how painful Stock is. Getting the chassis just right took up a much bigger chunk of time then it should have (and one of the reason I wish RA3 didn't suck, since it is much better in at least this regard), as well as trying to figure out the overall design. As such, this is what I ended up with. BTW, I named it "Magnitude" because, since both the drive and weapon motors are on the same Snappers, the bot ends up shaking like it's in an earthquake.

Welp, here's hoping I don't get my ass handed to me.

Here's the line-up from me.

Ironforge - Holy Monster: This is my wildcard for the 3 classes. If it can consistently get underneath, it can hit hard. Of course, that is unlikely to happen so it's probably going to die quick. Could possibly OOTA itself which would be interesting.

Stock - My First Bot: Like it says on the tin, this is my first proper robot in stock. I understand the concept of how stock works but just didn't have enough time to play around with it to get it to optimal damage/armour. I will likely lose out quickly.

Retooled - UKIP Mobile: I would say I'm almost overconfident with this robot. In the picture, it's a bit hard to make out how the robot works but basically, it is powered by a hovercraft engine with a small bar underneath the large disc which keeps it up. I am very excited to see how this one does.

IF - Sadly no bot... i had no nerves building a 125 kg bot...

Stock - Cut... well... he is interesting. He originally had 8 cutting blades but they were weak.. as i could only put 40 cm ones cuz of weight.. so then i placed iron fists.. I forgot to rename it. Also i think it will lose in the first battle cuz it is sooooooo.. unstable... i should've used less degreed angle connectors damn

Retooled - Scorpion - my best creation... i think it might go far.. 2 high rev spinning sawblades that act as a wedge too... who knows? Also this is my first retooled creation!

Ironforge - WedgePopup: I cloned a scout form reforged but the bot was different form scout, I don't know this bot can win the GTMC Ironforge or not.

Stock - Jumpscare: Very basic Popup I build, something I forget enter SnS/HS hybrid or a multibot Lightweight popup, I guess...

Retooled - Martrix: will, my first Retooled Popup ever build but it seen it win less round.

Well, it was a bit of a shock to get the first win of GTMC, but the outcome was always inevitable once Potedon got up to speed. I am not sure why it drove away during the second round when it was all up close, I feel like that was the best chance at an upset.
