tried out some asas stacks, made a generic hs and a topspinner/popup hybrid

first one has stacked hpz weapon and drive motors, second one has the baseplate zteks stacked into the wedge snappers and a snapper 2 stacked into the ztek. hs is just generic, so it's probably gonna get canned, but the hybrid is definitely getting a serious re-build.

there's a few other stacks im going to try that might be more useful (pistons inside of zteks or snappers IIs inside DDTs)

seems like the spinner will just push bots away before the popup can hit them

everyone else is building one so why not. wanted to see if it could be built with baseplate drive.

turns out you can, but it has plastic instead of DSA. 248.7, extender setup could be lighter but it's about 10kgs overweight with DSA so it really doesn't matter. chassis has alot of empty space though, so it might be possible if you made the chassis airtight (though i doubt you'd be able to stack everything inside)

Nice.  Did you axle load the left wheel away to stack the Nifty in there?  I never thought of doing that.

Also I was trying to do the same thing and I'm 99% sure this cannot be built with DSA without some ASAS wizardry.  You'd need a 25kg chassis and only 12kg worth of anchors + extenders.

You did have a non-invertible one way back.

Yay for productivity neigh for rain.

246.3 and DSA. Front anchor is slightly exo-stacked.

Always wondered what neigh for rain was supposed to mean lol

kos did one with the anchors inside of the nifty
probably could save weight on the last one if i stack the anchor inside one of the zteks.

Apparently you cant kill your own showcases anymore.

oh and here's a bot i made.

i know there's a lot of weight on the wedges, but they would've sucked ass anyways with the zteks on snappers and only 2wd. might rebuild it it with 4wd and a static vs setup if i ever remember. everything else is standard for a stock hw.

Geice, that thing is terrifying.

How good is it in testing?

Every time I try to build one of these things, I always end up with a single-wedge design that doesn't look as cool as I'd hoped. I could make it double-wedged, but it would usually underperform. :<

The DDT protectors look hella cool

Kills most things it gets under, gets raped by heavy hs. Not much I can do about that though.

A pair of RAD undercutters would be dope if I can get weight for them.

Yeah, sidehammers kinda seem like one of those single wedge bot types. Probably has something to do with Vice and Fragbeetle way back having single wedges, though they do seem better than your standard double wedge.
Why are you trying to delete your showcase??
Dunno, just saw that delete button was gone from the side after one of the fourm updates. Tried it on my IF showcase first to make sure it wouldn't delete this one.

Ninja'd me to that. Also I guess HAX mode gets activated if a RAD(dunno why exactly that one, probably the weakest and as such has the glitchiest axle?) axle leaves the max sphere?

old remake

same insides as the old one but with a complete different setup, 6 razors on the DDT now, and all the wammer weapons are now the snapper IIs. a little wider aswell. 799.0

still not happy with it so i'll probably rebuild it again.

here's the old bot if you want to know what the chassis setup looks like
Ehh not dead yet...not quite.

Didn't make it in time for annihilator

Oh man that is so cool looking. Are the wedges any good? When I tried making a popup off a snapper the wedges were beyond terrible (couldn't get under a box chassis) and it was super havoky.

Also, why DDTs for wedges? I thought Snapper2s made the best wedges?
also lol at most toxic guy around calling others out on this sh**

From what I've read DDTs give the best wedges, then Snapper2's and after that SnapperII's, but the distance plays a big part in that.

New one uses snapper 2s for wedges. They seem decent, but I'm still tweaking them. Absolutely no havok as well.

All burst motors are equally as wedgy as long as you aren't doing dumb sh**. The only difference between all the bursts (aside from power) is how much spring and give they have when they collide. Snapper II's have the most, DDT's have the least, and S2's are in the middle. IMO, the less springy they are, the more weight you can put on them before becoming ass.
