Pretty much two smaller robots competing as a team in a larger weight class.

I know why the sword is there, I like it from an aesthetic standpoint and I don't know why :P

nah HS will ruin his day as well. hammers stink in anything but heavyweight, and even there you need a caster armor front to be effective, and a strong drive train.
