Try adding a rack of spikes in the middle so the bot can't move :D

So as most of you know my computer is dead. However, I dug out my old desktop from the garage, dusted it off, and started up my OLD version of RA2 :D. Skimming through my old bots, I found a nice bit of nostalgia...

Introducing, the very first 36HS ever built!

As you can see, the setup is more commonly known on the bot Absolute Chaos. This bot was built the day before... Just a plain box chassis, unlike Inf's airtight one on AC.

Anyway, I might do some building now that I have RA2 back online. My skin pack is put on hiatus though until I can rip the stuff off my laptop hard drive or get it fixed.

Catch ya later.

Wasn't it called F5 or something? I seem to remember you and Inf talking about something like that, but never actually revealing it to the public.

Nah... I actually called this Infinity when I built it.

F5 (actually called category 5) was a bot inf built a while later that was a 36HS SnS with grannies. I don't know if he ever got it to work right, but it looked hecka cool.

I NEEDED to build SOMETHING. Didn't care much what, but I just needed to build. Here's what came out.

3 blacks, DSA.

No battleshots cause I haven't installed any AI packs yet.

Neither do I! I built it in 20 minutes, and 5 of those was stacking the batt.

I promise the next bot will be thought out, tested, retested, rebuilt, tested, skinnned, and then splashed to perfection.

Inf- yes, but not for long :P i think i have a way to get every single one of them back.

Looks good but, is 4 black batts really necessary?

The DDT's have a lot of weight on them and the longer extender (40cm) makes it harder to fire. They need to be able to fling bots for more than the first two shots. The more battery the more power the DDT's have, up to a point.

Ounce- No I don't think so

Reier- yep

Duck- thanks

And you say I'm the only original builder left on the forums.  Nice work Sage.  I've seen attempts at sideways popups before (there's one in the PYS AI I believe, Step Off 2), but never done that effectively.  Also, all the sideways popups I've seen fire in just one direction, not with a forward throwing action like that.

I have now lost complete faith in my stock building.

When I post a generic bot, people object to it.  When I post a non-generic bot trying to make up for my lack of originality, people still object to it and (you) tell me not to worry about originality, and yet you took the time to post an original bot in your showcase.

So if I can't build generic or non-generic bots without someone having a problem with it, what the heck am I supposed to do?![8(]

I still like the bot, though, and I'm sorry Sage if it seemed like I offended you.

Think outside the box, imagine a design but twist it around alil bit.
