Even though I like Dsl a lot, I decided to take a break & play stock a little bit. (I'm better at Dsl than stock though.) Anyway, 1st is heavyweight Influenza, splash says it all:



Probably the lamest HW popup on the face of the planet. I like the look of it though. =P I mainly did it to practice my extender work. 2 DDT's to power the weapon, 1 snapper2 for the wedge (it was the only thing I could fit in there)  1 snapper II for the ramplate on the front & 2 snapper2's for the srimech. It can kill most things, but has trouble with uber spinners like Little Darling. I did come about this -I I- close to killing Vortex CE, though.

One of my favorite stock lightweights of all time. <3 The original Scalpel wasn't invertible, so I had to completely remake the drive system. The weapons spin inwards, which lets it kill wedges & popups easily...

Scalpel is good, although you could dump the T and Y connectors by stacking the anchors, and gain some weight.

For your popup, it needs some notable improvement, but it's still not the lamest on the face of the planet (see R1885's showcase).

-Get rid of these small batts ! No pinks on a HW !
-Try to make a weapon powerful enough to act as a srimech, not a separate srimech.
-The reason you get ruined by über stacked HS is that this bot has no efficient armor. See Ideal Tyrant or my PitA.
-Razor tips are better for popups, but you need to hide 'em into your chassis.

Otherwise, i like the messy look of that bot.

Influenza is, frankly, the coolest looking stock robot EVER. Looks pretty powerful too. Not sure about the other one though...

I don't know about all of that, but it is a very original design. Is the bot underpowered in any way?

Not really, I use 2 black batts & it seems to work fine as it's only powering 4 HPZs & 2 DDTs.

I was trying to figure out how to give scalpel better armor, and somehow came up with this:



Gateway 2. The orignal had MAJOR stability problems, so I had to remake the weapon system because it was too far forward & the wheels couldn't touch the ground. If I want, I can replace the armor with plastic, and change the Zteks with HP ones to get more power on the weapon. The downside to this is that is drains the batt very fast. :roll: ANYway, it's very destructive, and can kill most popups with ease. Downside is it's a bit unstable during battle. It eats Jubjub bird & poptarts for breakfast. :icon_twisted:

i bet the 12 kgs you spent on putting the drive in would be more then just putting them in a bigger chassis.

Edit: it works fine normally, but if I do like the other one & change the armor to plastic & put on HPZs, it puts me over the weight limit. Ah, well. =/ Sages way does keep my drive from getting ripped off, though. =)

The snowplow is sort of to keep away other bots from the chassis. It's a cannibal, no other S3 popup stands a chance. :icon_twisted:



I have about 16 kgs left, but I can't figure out where to put it. Any suggestions would be appreciated. =)

wow! you keep getting better. very small empty space, powerful, good wedge.
i think the best thing you can do with the weight it to put rubber wheels on instead of shinies. lower ground clearance, less of a target.

I was going to say the same thing about rubbers, and try to get that snowplow lower, possibly overlapping it by attaching it to the snapper 2.

Thanks, Guys! I tries Sage's & Nar's Suggestions with the rubbers, and it works great.

It's dangerous. Popup killer. It self-rights the same way Tempis Fugit does (it rotates it's weapons in the same way, thus rotating it's body). Even though "IHNIWYATA" is little on the slow side, but makes up for that with it's damage potential.

Pretty good. I would attach the moters differently to make it invertable. Then attach the razors like you would triple irons. It would do more damage.

edit: I think you can shrink the chassis a bit.

Is that a DSL snowplow? Or did you just paint it silver?

You have alot of talent. Keep up the good work. The only thing I would do with the HS is attach the HPZteks in a different way to make the bot invertible and remove that spike up top and use the weight for more weapons or defence somewhere.

I copied the Dsl plow's skin & replaced the stock's blue skin with it.
