I've built MW rammers with 2WD and HW rammers with 4 Wheel drive that have been some of my best bots.

There's no point to having Rubbers unless you have wedges, and you can save weight from not using those T connecters. Instead, use one extender sticking straight out and then attach connecters to the side of it.

The bot should use 6 wheel drive if you want it to compete at the HW level. 2 wheel drive is for a LW, and 4 wheel drive is for a MW.

Your choice to keep the plows but I recommend to not use them as then you'll have a VERY limited amount of weapons with the pistons, (plows,) 6 wheel drive, batteries, and air tanks. However, if you do choose to keep the plows, then I recommend not using 4 pistons. Instead, you should use 2 baseplate anchors for ramming, and 2 pistons for poking.

This whole paragraph makes me laugh my effin' ass off. Please, do not listen to this.

And yeah, SC3 is a must for you. You're solid.

I also love the aesthetics of even your most simple splashes.

But for advice, 4wd should be the ninimum requirement on this one. I would definitely just use 2 pistons, 4wd + airtanks. Also, Pysc is 1086% right about the plows.

The way that bot was built, it needed 6wd. I have bots like this, heavily weaponed/armored, with 4wd that do fine.

No matter what "Life Robot Arena 2" (possibly meant to be LIVE?) just tried and failed at, I have some updates.

That poker design I had going in the last couple of pages failed. Couldn't get it working so well, and attaching the snowplows to the burst pistons.. doesn't really provide the side protection it was meant to be.

However...

This was more along the lines of what I was attempting at the very start. Though I guess you could say Slamboni there being passed around in this thread gave some inspiration.

It could be improved. But what should be done?

(Yes, I haven't downloaded SC3 yet)

It's already quite good. Try attaching the drive to 2 Snapper IIs and use the secret attachment point to attach the plows instead. That way you can turn the tank 90 degrees and you can have a smaller chassis.
Clash Cubes 1 - Grey Matter (Runner-Up)
King of Karnage - Sideshow Freak (Runner-Up, Best Engineered)
Rust In Pieces - Paper Cut 3 (Grand Champion, Most Dangerous Bot)
Wheely Tag Tournament - Ion Thruster (Grand Champion, along with Ounces' DiSemboweLment)
UK vs USA - Dark Striker (Grand Champion)
Rust In Pieces 2 - Claymore (Runner-Up, Favourite Bot)
BBEANS 6 - Infection 4 (Runner-Up)
RA2 Team Championships - Serious Business, Skeksis (Runner-Up, along with Scrappy, S_M, and Badnik)
RA2 Team Championships 2 - The Other Stig (Runner-Up, along with Scrappy, S_M, Badnik, 090901, and R1885)
Replica Wars 3 - Abaddon (Runner-Up, Luckiest Bot)
BroBots - wheebot & yaybot (Runner-Up)
Robo Zone 2 - Dipper (4th place, Survival Champion, & Best Axle Bot)
ARBBC - The Covenant (3rd place, BW Rumble Winner, Most Feared BW)

Took about 5 minutes to work out how you was meant to use the secret connection point (Knew about it, used it before, but it's just that for some reason I thought it acts like a 90 degree angle extender) On paper I'm not sure how much it'd change.

The Z-teks are about 3 pixels seperated from eachother, and putting the air tank in the gap in place of the black batt is will result in only having enough space for small batts.
Excluding tweaks to pretty much shrink-wrap the chassis, the layout seems to be in it's most effective form.

Here's my original Doomed Bots entry. Yes, it looks a lot like BFR. No, it's not meant to be.

It's meant to look dull and grimy.. because, well, it's Doomed Bots. Looking for heck's finest. Would there really be a pink bot down there?

The entry I changed to.. you'll find out what it is when the tourney splash is released.

You know you can put the black err... red between the drive and still make the chassis shorter for more casters. :P

And why is the Rupting flipper a disadvantage? If it's for self-righting, maybe you could use the DDTs. :D

Probably could of. Was lazy, probably. Or just saw the BFR style chassis as a good way to keep the wheels protected. I'm not sure if the anti-HS Caster armor will ever be effective on this design, but it is on my actual entry. Or atleast, in testing.

Bot dump!

Splash of my RAW2 most likely entry, but screwed up for my amusement and your despair! (I'll say it might be my toughest MW yet though..)

Another Beetleweight rammer, just with the stronger iron spikes and caster armour! (Plastic armour)

Random middleweight poker with frontal caster armour!
