Try to use shiny hubs on Target me 2, and then add a ramplate in the front attached to a baseplate anchor. That would keep the forward weight into the bot, just like the ballasts would do.

Ballasts, like Sage always says, are good at enhancing wedge effectiveness.

Way back in the day, before builders knew about the efficiency of wedges, they desgined their wedged bots ultimately by putting as much weight towards the front of the bot, as well as having enough slope. When you have weight and nothing to do with it, ballasts arent a horrible investment.

---------------------------------------------------------------

Anyways PhB, I like your bots generally, but in stock you are too sloppy with the extender work.

Last post before vacation .... :-))))

here are some bots build while i'm running RA2GE stage 3. Some are good, some are not, all must filled the constraint that they must be easy to drive because RA2GE is 'user-played'.

still 2 days before  3 no-bots/no computer  weeks, post your comment quickly, if any... otherwise i will see them in about a month. gasp !

Tom sawer: Those Says are to big. Use smaller saws and faster motors, like Z teks. IMHO saws aren't ideal weapons in stock but are good for novelty bots. I Doubt people use them much thoigh, as you'd be better off with 2 razors on a T connector... Nice attempt though...

Dune Skatler: WTF?

Classy one: Nice HS, Not much to say here.

There are some other bots i use through my RA2GE Travel.
All series get a LW, a MW and a HW.
the same chassis is used for each bot of a serie (this is a self-imposed constraint).

Cyberpunk serie :

near Death Experience Serie :

Shame and Scandal Serie :

... and a gift for those who have read this post : the pack of "skull decals " (to put under RA2/texture_library/decals folder)
https://gametechmods.com/uploads/files/skull.rar

i'm about 70% of RA2GE, ending stage 3, and still havin'g fun.

RA2GE Completion above 80%, and here some of the bot i use. the effort is much on the paint job  than on the building.

all the arena are gigafrost's reskin job.

I tried maces on a VS, but they don't work very well cause the bot wobbled. It might just be because of AGOD that said.

Lighter wheels would help as well...

here is a heavy one :

i will comment my RA2GE experiment soon on the thread made by gigafrost.
As i told it in another thread, i will also release the AI pack i used : a compilation of classical teams : a pack with more than 140 ones, and few of mines.

i was so shocked when i saw that it only had a nifty. but then i realized it was mostly pistons, so it works just fine.
are there 2 snappers on the right side of the bot?

no there are 4 snappers, the picture on the top right shows the glitch used to attach the pistons.

Each of the 2 snappers (one on the front-left, the other on the front-right of the bot) holds 8 pistons for a total of 16.
on each piston only one weapon is mounted.
